I ordered ginger chicken and it was tasteless. The carrots was raw and hard, I took it out. The first ingredient said ginger and there was nothing ginger about this. It had more like a watery soup than sauce. For $19 dollars it should have more than 2 pcs of very thin chicken. Never again.

Sheena is amazing! I absolutely love this place. My family and I come here every week—it’s our go-to spot. We trust the food here more than anywhere else because it’s always fresh, high-quality, and the restaurant is spotless. After a long day, we often pick up from here just for the convenience, but honestly, you don’t need to eat anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and always remembers us by name. Plus, the cleanliness and high sanitation rating give us peace of mind every time we visit. Highly recommend!

Food is great and plentiful and Sheena does an amazing job working the front register whether it’s takeout or dine in, she is friendly, has a good attitudeis a true professional. She handles many take/dash/dine-in orders simultaneously with great efficiency. Indochine is lucky to have her.

I was told this place had the best coconut shrimp in a 100 mile radius and was not disappointed. Honestly this place is amazing and the entire staff was great, and not just because they fell in love with my purse. It matched the rice containers and they were all just as obsessed as I was about it!

Take out for two mains, Fried Rice, one appetizer was $71. Food was tasteless. We ordered yum yum chicken but got chicken with cashews. Chicken was very very dry and fatty! Their fried rice is whatever is left around they throw it in – ours had pineapple in it. Dumplings were inedible/ chewy leather. They could not find our food when we went to pick up. The worst meal we have ever ordered there. Very disappointing.

Sheena is always terrific and pleasant taking our Togo orders.The food is incredible and Indochine is are go to place when family and friends visit us. We’ve never been disappointed. The ginger chicken is exceptional and our guests love all the appetizers and curry dishes. You will not be disappointed.

I finally got to try Indochine Express here in Leland. I’ve been to the one near Independence mall (and their sister restaurants).
Small place where you order at the counter. I had the lemongrass pork with fried rice and my friend ordered one of the specials, as chicken with broccoli.
My dish came out pretty quickly. My friend waited an extra 10 minutes for her, which we thought was odd.
Our food was just okay, really nothing special. The fried rice didn’t seem freshly made, as it was one thick clump that probably sat in a pot for a while.
I guess I prefer Indochine Restaurant and Cafe Chinois over the Express.
I’ll give it another try in the future.
EDIT: DH and I had lunch today (30 December 2023) and the food was very good.
We started with the Cha Gio rolls. There were 6 to the order and reasonably priced. They reminded us of the rolls we had at a Korean restaurant back in Maryland. Nice crunchy wraps. They were served with lettuce to wrap the rolls.
I ordered the Pad Kra Pao, beef with basil. DH ordered the Pad Thai. Both were huge portions and well prepared. We have plenty of leftovers to enjoy.
You order at the counter. The person that took our order was very friendly. She brought our food out quickly to our table.
This is a small place and nicely decorated.
The only thing I didn’t like (yes, I should have asked) was that were were not given plates. Maybe they do more take out than sit down diners.

I’ve had consistently frustrating experiences with the customer service here. Every time I come in during the evening shift, the woman behind the front counter completely ignores customers. She doesn’t acknowledge that you’re standing there and instead pretends to stay busy behind the counter for 10 minutes or more before finally engaging. I even walked in once to find another customer being ignored in the exact same way. It’s clearly not a one-time issue. It’s disappointing because the food is great, but the lack of basic courtesy from the evening staff really ruins the experience.

Always a great experience food wise, but I wanted to commend the amazing employees at this location specifically! They never miss a beat, and always include everything down to the sauces and utensils with pick up orders! Great attention to details and friendly!
