First things I noticed was there was no one working the counter and with the design no one could see you if you needed assistance. At first I could not find the ordering station because they were in the back and ot near the counter.
There was no interaction with personal and would be difficult to get them if you needed them.
Food wise the fries were good, but the sandwich McChicken was like chewing rubber.

I just left there tonight receiving the worst service I’ve ever gotten from there. I ordered meals for my husband and I was told to pull forward to parking space which was not an issue. My food was brought out asked if anything was missing and I let the man know that my double quarter pounder and fries was missing he asked to see my receipt which I didn’t have cause when asked if I wanted my receipt I said no (my mistake) he said okay I’ll look into it and walked away. Waited 10 minutes he never came back so I went inside told another man what was going on. He went and talked to his manager who I heard screaming “no she was not rung up for that!” He came back asked again what I ordered I told him everything I ordered and what was missing I told him that I could tell him my total so they could pull up my receipt and see if it was wrong up and if not I would pay for it that I just want what I ordered and he disappeared to the back which again she started screaming “it’s fine it’s fine I don’t have time to argue with the lady give her whatever she wants.” I was not rude at all I was calm and nice idk why she was behaving this way. I would like to talk to whoever is in charge about her behavior

Welcome to the wild and wacky world of McDonald’s at Oak Grove (Jefferson Rd at Lavender Rd), where the scent of adventure mixes with a hint of… “herbal essence,” shall we say?

As you step into this fast-food wonderland, prepare for a sensory overload. The yelling in the kitchen and the occasional booming “Shut up!” from parenting prodigies to their tiny tots create a symphony of chaos that’s truly unforgettable.

But wait, there’s more! For your entertainment pleasure, we present the Oak Grove homeless troupe—a lively bunch whose performances range from interpretive dance to avant-garde twitching. It’s dinner and a frightening show, all rolled into one mildly chaotic package.

As for the food, you’ll find all your McDonald’s favorites, served with a side of… well, more chaos. Napkins? Condiments? Drink refills? You’re better off trying to win the lottery. But hey, who needs amenities when you have the thrill of uncertainty?

Now, onto the culinary delights—or shall we say, challenges? It took right at 15 minutes and the maitre d’ delivered the meal to the table himself. The chicken sandwich, a supposed delicacy, resembled something that had been run over by a particularly determined car. And as for the kids’ chicken nuggets? Hard enough to use as weapons in a biblical showdown—David could’ve easily used them to slay Goliath.

But fear not, fellow adventurers, for amidst the madness, we encountered a lone warrior—a normal lady, accompanied by her son. She shared with us the grim truth: this was her third expedition into the madness of this McDonald’s at Oak Grove, and alas, it was like stepping into a bizarre alternate reality every time. Her resolve was firm: she would not be returning.

But fear not, for every cloud has a silver lining, or in this case, a golden arch. The highlight of our odyssey? Escaping unscathed, a triumphant victory over the odds stacked against us. As we fled the scene, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief, knowing that we had survived the wild ride that is McDonald’s at Oak Grove.

So, to our fellow survivors and future intrepid explorers, heed our tale of caution and courage. And remember, sometimes the best part of an adventure is simply making it out alive.

I stopped by here this morning and ordered two hash browns and 4 burritos. The young girl taking the cash was pleasant. I pulled to the next window to get food and the young lady working the window here was kind as well. She hands me my bag and I ask if the mild sauce for the burritos was in the bag. She told me it should be so I looked and there was none, so I asked for some. The young lady comes back with two sauces and I said can I please have a few more because I have 4 burritos. When she comes back to the window to hand me a few more I can hear another lady rudely yell from around the corner where the whole restaurant can hear “That’s all she’s getting. Anymore and she can pay for them”. I kindly thanked the lady at the window and left. If that’s one of the management staff or shift leads, she needs some additional training on customer service. Her attitude was disgusting.

The double quarterpounder was cooked thoroughly (many other locations I ordered, and the DQPC are undercooked). The patties were slightly thinner but larger diameter.
The service was friendly. They forgot the BBQ sauce for the nuggets, but the food came out hot and fresh.

Slow, slow service, dirty tables and floor. Forgot part of our order and some of what we got was incorrect. Got 1 napkin for 3 meals – heard one customer standing at the empty counter hollering for napkins then another for ketchup. Low expectations for McDonald’s and they don’t even meet those.

When they first opened in 2024 the customer service was great. The best out of a McDonald’s I’ve had. Since the management has changed (a few times) it has been absolutely terrible. This newer crew ALWAYS forgets something. We come here on our busy days and it’s the closest restaurant, but we will go out our way to BK.

I ordered 2 $5 meals, a happy meal and 2 double cheese burgers. When the GIRL brought my food I said, this is not all of my food. She said, well how do you know? I said well I ordered a happy meal and you did not bring one. She argued that another employee gave it to me. She then went and got the happy meal. When she returned I explained the the chicken nuggets that go with the $5 meal were missing as well. Stacey the manager came to the window. She and her employee both called me a liar. They think after paying $30 that I needed to steal 8 nuggets. What a joke you guys continue to be. I have been to this mcdonalds 3 times. An issue every single time. Very rude you are Stacey. Good bye forever!

The lady who took my order never smiled. It seemed I interrupted her day. There is no drink station so you have to wait around for a refill. There is a wall behind the order counter that blocks any view of the kitchen. You can’t see if workers have hair loose and flowing or neatly put up, if they are in uniform or dirty clothes…… Are they being clean with the food? Who knows, it is hidden. No way I will ever come back here.
