I really enjoyed the food at IndoViet. The flavors are spot-on, with that nice mix of Vietnamese and Indonesian influences, and the portions are seriously generous. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well-seasoned, which is why the food alone keeps this place in the conversation.

The rest of the experience was a bit rough around the edges, though. Service was just okay. We asked for separate checks right when we ordered, but they still got tangled up at the end, which was annoying. The dishes also didn’t all come out together, so we ended up eating in shifts instead of sharing the meal at the same time.

The dining room could use some love too. The tables aren’t the most comfortable for sitting awhile, and they’re in the middle of installing hot pot setups (which honestly sounds fun for next time), but right now there’s almost no legroom under them, so it feels cramped. And the front door wouldn’t stay shut properly, so cold air kept sneaking in the whole time we were there. It was noticeably chilly inside.
I specifically asked for my dish to be spicy, but what arrived had basically zero heat. It was about as mild as plain mayonnaise. If you like things with a real kick, you’ll probably need to stress that point hard or plan to bring your own chili oil.

Overall, the food quality and big portions earn it a solid three stars from me. It’s tasty enough that I’d consider it again, especially for takeout to skip the in-restaurant quirks. If they smooth out the service, fix the door, and figure out the spice levels, this spot could easily climb higher. For now, it’s a good option in the Canton/Highlandtown area when you’re craving pho, banh mi, or those Indonesian flavors, but I’d temper expectations on everything else.

Came to dine in on a weekday night. The place wasn’t very busy, so we were seated immediately and food arrived soon after we ordered. The food was tasty and portions were large. The service was great. We’ll happily come again.

Great time at IndoViet today. I got the spicy chicken Bahn mi and I was happy with the portion of veggies and chicken.

My wife got a beef pho with a side of chicken for our baby, they even gave the chicken a little broth which my baby loved!!

Everything was delicious and the inside was very pretty.

Their Bun Bo Hue is one of the best in town. But it’s not for everyone. Hardly spicy, but one of the two meat options has pork knuckle. I don’t think they allow substitutions. Anyway, very delicious amped up pho.
Tofu Spring Rolls app was ok. Very fresh, but had almost no flavor on their own w/o a sauce to dip in. I like their peanut dip sauce, but wife doesn’t.
I also tried their Thai Curry Pho (pic) which was pretty good, and I don’t normally care for creamy curries like that.

I love coming here for solo-eating. I love coming here for a meal with friends. I love coming here for date night! All to say, this place is so cozy, warm, and welcoming. The staff are so friendly and kind. And the place is very vegetarian friendly! I prefer this pho place compared to others in Baltimore because of the large menu of authentic Vietnamese dishes to try (beyond the basics) and their happy hour is every hour, pretty good deals too!

Really great customer service, the place was pretty empty, but they were pretty busy because they had a constant stream of takeout orders.

They have a huge menu and as their restaurant name indicates, they serve Indonesian and Vietnamese dishes. I ordered their bun bo hue and a Thai milk tea. My fiance ordered their Indonesian rice place with grilled chicken and teriyaki sauce. Their bun bo hue was delicious and piping hot and their Thai milk tea didn’t taste watery at all! My fiance loved his dish and he even asked to go back (he never does with other pho places I ask to go to)!

Their prices are a little high compared to pho places outside of the city, but not surprised considering the location.

Old review: My favorite place to grab boba! I recommend trying the boba pearls – they’re always fresh and soft, with the perfect amount of chewiness. It’s also a great spot to relax and enjoy your drink or a meal with a loved one!

New review: There may be new workers, but this place needs to improve the boba! I waited for 30 minutes for boba which wasn’t ready when I arrived. The boba was hard, and the sugar particles were not mixed well. Very disappointing.

We were trying to figure out what to eat on a cold and rainy night. I suggested Indoviet since we have never been before. We ordered chicken bao buns, vegetable broth chicken pho, vegetable broth shrimp balls pho, and beef garden rolls. Everything was hot and ready to go when we went to pick it up.

If you aren’t looking to order they also have a huge dining area that is very spacious. I would Def go try this place again.

Tea was light on the boba and not very cold, but food was excellent. Got some apps while we waited and took drinks to go. Spring rolls were particularly good and other dinner meals we’ve gotten to go have been outstanding. Service was meh, but did do a good job remembering everything we ordered from memory.

The pork egg rolls were good, the bahn mi was a bit dry but tasty, but the real star was the braised pork, the sauce it came in was delicious!! Dipping the bahn mi in it helped a lot! Next time I will try something new like the pho. Service was very good and fast!
