I’ve visited this place numerous times and food is always good and fresh. This particular time i visited, i had bragged on them so much that my coworkers wanted some. I had 4 orders and when I made it back to work, I was so dissapointed!. The food was overcooked, and everything tasted like it had been cooked in old grease. You couldnt taste anything but old grease. My coworkers talked about me so bad for referring this place, that I had to apologize because we all were disappointed. I felt so bad for bragging on them so much just to deliver underrated food. For as much as they charge, there is no reason that our food should have been sent out the kitchen the way that it was, and I probably won’t return.

baby when i tell you i cant recommend them ENOUGH? literally everytime i call my order in no matter who picks up the phone they are always patient , helpful & friendly! they move so quick even if they are busy but the quality of the food doesn’t suffer its still perfect, correct & fresh each time! please please please go! I get the wings everytime ive tried their fish and fried okra its pretty good but i ALWAYS get the wings either honey hot, honey gold or they mild hot wings all flats

Mattie, this food was absolutely delicious!!! I spoke to you about this being my first time trying. The catfish is cooked to perfection y’all! I also had some honey gold bone in wings and a double bacon cheeseburger. The french fries are good! I rate this place a 9.7 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stumbled upon this delightful hole-in-the-wall restaurant while searching for something to eat on the way home, and I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. As soon as we walked in, the lady at the desk warmly greeted us and said, “Oh, it’s your first time? You will be back.” And she was right—we absolutely will be back! Everything we tried was incredibly tasty, and to our surprise, it was just as good the second time around when we reheated it in the toaster oven.
It’s important to note that this place is strictly for pickup, so there are no tables to sit at and enjoy your meal on-site. However, they do have a few seats available for waiting while your food is being prepared. Keep in mind that there are no public restrooms available, so plan accordingly.
The entrance to the restaurant is off of School Street, and it has a very steep incline. Parking can be quite tight, but trust me, the minor inconvenience is well worth it. The quality and flavor of the food more than make up for any parking challenges or lack of dining space. This hidden gem has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorites.

On my second visit, I purchased the catfish combo, with okra. The okra had the appearance and taste of being overcooked.They were charred. The wings a bit tough with sauce just poured over. Finally the bread was old sliced bread instead of a roll. Goodbye 601 fish and wings.

The hospitality was amazing. The food was made to order, hot and delicious. I ordered the catfish dinner and the size of the fish was huge. My girls order the wings and one got the burger. They were very satisfied with their food. We’re definitely going here again.

YESSSS FINALLY found a restaurant with real catfish My plate was $15 I had the two piece catfish 10/10 Both Definitely was a good size fillet my sides I had was fried okra 10/10… French fries 7/10 They was good just a tad dark for my preference && could’ve used more salt or some seasoning would’ve been nice.. I picked a cold Coke yess very refreshing they did offer tea but eww only a maniac drinks tea but anyway over all I just got off from a 12 hr shift && I’m eating the rest of my plate && it still hits! Definitely going back to try that pork chop sandwich. The customer service was good those young ladies were friendly and very kept.. Was told my food would be ready in 15min it was ready in about 18 I wasnt tripping because they do cook everything fresh as it says on the front door… Definitely recommend
