We went in with a large party, but the service was still very good and attentive. Props to the staff for being professional even though we had a lot of kids with us.

This is a good place to take your family or large parties.

If you are doing the A-level menu I would stick to the thinly sliced beef and pork belly. If you are doing the B-level menu I would add in beef tongue as well. I also like their selection of banchan. The potato salad, japchae, and fish cake were my favorites. They give you free ice cream at the end too. It’s straight out of the freezer so it’s a bit hard, but it’s good once it warms up. I always get the green tea ice cream.

THIS WAS THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT!
The staff was very polite and attentive. The sides were great, we had the marinated pork chops, garlic pork belly and Bugogi beef. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. The only downside was the wait, but after eating there I 100% understand why!!

First of all — they have the best kimchi I have ever had so be sure to try it. Tried the prime steak and pork belly (portions were too large so next time I would order half size), chicken, bulgogi and shrimp(4 at a time). My fave was the shrimp and my husband liked the spicy pork belly. Also the steamed egg dish was good as was the bean veg stew. Also, loved the service. The ice cream was a nice ending — I had strawberry and hubby had cookies n cream. Will return. This location is near Knott’s Berry Farm hotel.

overall 4/5 rating. Price is $33-$39 per person, latest menu is included in the review. the meats they give are big portions, especially the brisket ones. we got korean alcohol like kloud and cass, we prefer the cass. staff is friendly and will frequently check on you if you need anything. i love that they have a button where you can press and call a server. the vibes were good, music not too loud, not too hot, and spacious seating and dining. big parking lot, no issues. for the price, the meat quality is alright. will definitely come back. oh they give free ice cream after the meal, big portion too!!

Great service especially from the skinny ripped dude, he’s funny and very accommodating. Other staff is nice and on top of their game. I always just get the beef belly, super fatty and good meat. Been here like 4 times right after I come from Knotts just 2 mins away. Definitely recommend this spot! Plus they have free ice cream, green tea is my favorite! It’s included with the AYCE.

After my visit last night, I can confidently say that I have added a new restaurant to my “favorites” list. Cham Soot Gol had some of the best food and service I’ve ever had, and it was affordable too! I visited with my friend, and our servers Angie and Brian were so friendly and helpful. They constantly checked on us and were happy to offer us tips for how to cook the meat better. They made sure we were having a great time during our entire visit and it cannot be overstated how attentive they were.

On top of the service, the food was also fantastic. I especially recommend the bulgogi and spicy pork, and make sure to ask for hot sauce! I also really enjoyed the sides they offered. I got the base all-you-can-eat package, which was $32.99, but I think I’ll try the upgraded package next time, which is $38.99. We were even offered ice cream after our meal and the portion was generous. I will absolutely, 100% be back here. I was visiting San Diego for the day and am so glad I chose to try this place.

One of the best KBBQ restaurants in North OC. Their cuts and variety of meats are carefully selected and delicious. Ban chan (side) dishes are fresh and their service is top notch. The price per person in 2025 is reasonable for the quality and service you get.

This place used to be nice. Went here last night with friends. First round of meat suppose to be good. That beef belly and brisket was the most hard to chew beef for $35 even for an AYCE. Forgot to give us salad. Kimchi fried rice tasted like it was sprinkled powder kimchi and not real kimchi. Servers weren’t attentive and have to called.

This AYCE Korean bbq spot is amazing!! The sides, the meats, the service is nothing short of what you’d expect from a Korean bbq place. The meats are good, well seasoned and so easy to cook, the sides are amazing starting with my favorites Japchae, Kimchi cucumbers and Kimchi. The favorite thing of the night was the kimchi fried rice! Blew my mind how flavorful it was, will come again in the future.
