My Taste Buds and I paid a visit and were pleasantly impressed. While the menu leans toward the pricey side, the portions were satisfying, the flavors were on point, and the overall experience made the bill feel justified. Every bite of the fish and chips and wings felt intentional and well-executed.

Best salmon meal I’ve ever had! The quality of the drinks, food, service, and atmosphere all together made for a very memorable experience. The musician (Luke Winslow King) for the evening was awesome. Found out about this show on the Cooperstown calendar of events while doing other touristy activities in the area.

I can’t believe I have not reviewed this place before there must be some sort of glitch in the system. This is my first stop, my favorite place to get a pinky up cocktail before heading out to dive bars. They have music almost every Wednesday night and this is the first place that served me asparagus I not only liked but loved. All of the food is top-notch they have a constantly revolving chalkboard of beers on tap and they make the best super Cherry Manhattan in town.

B Sides is a great spot in town! The food is consistently delicious, and I love that they change up the menu regularly. We visited recently for the SUNY Oneonta student music performance night, which was a lot of fun!
I ordered the salmon with carrots and mashed potatoes—the fish was cooked perfectly, and the potatoes really hit the spot. I also tried the hot honey margarita special, which was tasty and definitely brought the heat (as advertised!).Our friends ordered the wing appetizers, which they really enjoyed—and they looked delicious!
It was great to see such a good turnout for the event. The service is always friendly, though a bit on the slower side. That night, they seemed a little understaffed, but the owner even stepped in to help, which was great to see.
Overall, it’s absolutely worth a visit—whether you’re in town, on a date, or out with friends!

Calamari and fish tacos were tasty and delicious. Will definitely come again when visiting. Music can be loud if a music night, but I went on a fundraiser night- with a bunch of great college bands- so other music nights might not be so loud. I would suggest go earlier if you don’t want live loud music. Some people love it like me, some people don’t. So go earlier. The food and service will not disappoint. Go.

Just left having dinner and seeing the Phakers at the B Side. The food was excellent , the service was even better and the vibe was off the charts. The band was AWESOME, and the crowd was just as great. Everyone was happy and dancing. Truly the best atmosphere I have experienced at any restaurant venue ever. Cannot wait to come back for dinner and their next band.

We had dinner and the food was different and great. I had the Kabocha Squash and Grain salad which was delicious, nice non meat option. The band on 11/14 was a group from SUNY Oneonta so the restaurant supports local talent. The crowd was warm and friendly.. we will be back!

B Side is amazing! The food is always top-notch, and I love that they have weekly specials, they never miss. The wings are incredible, and the cocktails are even better! The service is great too, it’s usually busy when I go, but the staff is always kind and attentive. The atmosphere is perfect for a night out, with a modern rustic jazz bar vibe that makes it feel both cozy and upscale. Whether you’re out with friends or on a date, B Side is definitely worth checking out!
