As a proud Thai, I’m thrilled to share some of Thailand’s most beloved dishes with you, along with a few favourites from my family’s recipe book. I’ve been to the kitchen a couple of times now, and I fall in love with it more each visit!! Uma and all the chefs are wonderful and professional. The Thai coconut breaded shrimp is one of the best appetizers; it’s always crispy, tender, and juicy, and it pairs perfectly with the coconut dipping sauce. The Tom Yum Goong shrimp is my go-to soup. It honestly transports me back to Bangkok with how good the flavour is, and the slight spiciness makes it the perfect soup for cold winter days. The Thai mango salad is a must-order every single time; it balances out the meal and is so refreshing. Pad Krapow is my favourite main dish, the size is huge with lots of meat, vegetables and an egg on top, it would usually takes me two meals to finish it.

I tried A Little Thai Kitchen today and it was amazing! I love that it’s a local spot serving truly authentic Thai food. I had the Pad Thai, and honestly, I’d stopped ordering Pad Thai from most places because it’s usually just a pile of noodles with barely any veggies. But this one was absolute perfection!! It was flavourful and made exactly the way it should be.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, delicious Thai food. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was delicious, BUT before you leave the restaurant, make sure the containers are packed tightly.
My wife placed the takeout paper bag in her lap on the drive home. Turns out that one of the containers were placed sideways and the lids was loose. Needless to say it started leaking almost immediately.
Good thing it’s half a container of shrimp stir-fry that ended up on her, and not some boiling hot soup.

This was a lovely little find and the food was outstanding.
Staff are friendly and it has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Lot of folks came in for lunch takeout but we decided to eat on site.
We ordered a red shrimp curry and an order of chicken pad Thai and pork spring rolls. Everything was made fresh and it tasted great. We were also asked if we wanted it spicy and we received a container of chili spice. If you enjoy your Thai food spicy, this one’s for you!
Just be aware that there are no bathrooms on site according to what we were told. Otherwise this place is well worth a visit and we will be back.

I just found a fantastic gem hidden away on Napier st.
The food here is absolutely excellent, it’s authentic, it’s fresh and full of flavour. The size of the serving are more than adequate!
I ordered the Pork Spring Rolls(crispy not greasy, very tasty), the Thai Fresh Summer Rolls(super fresh veggies and herbs, they were so refreshing), and also the Pad Kra Tiem(Stir fried beef, very tender and wonderfully seasoned).
It’s a small establishment with just 8 seats outside, the restaurant caters mostly to take out and delivery.
Fast and courteous service is assured!
The restaurant is run by a lady from Thailand, she is super sweet, professional and knowledgeable about her cuisine.
You owe it to yourself to try them out…

What an amazing place to stop for Thai food. We were on our way back to Toronto from further up north and decided to give this place a try. Their name says it all, it’s a little Thai kitchen which has more of a street food/take out vibe but I feel like that added to the experience. We ordered the fried rice and pad Thai and were very surprised with quality of the food. The portions are very generous and very well made. Definitely will come back next time we go up north!

This place makes honour to its name, it is a tiny kitchen. A take out place, nonetheless, tiny, but the food has BIG delicious flavours. We tried the Pad Thai Bento Box and it was great, the spring rolls were delicious and the rice roll was very nice and refreshing. We also had a Thai Curry that again, had tons of flavour, it also got better with their nice dry hot peppers. Def worth the visit

I ordered the Red Curry from the lunch menu and the Pad Thai off the regular menu. I have tried a lot of Thai restaurants in Barrie. I would say the Red Curry with chicken was excellent and so was the rice that I ordered with it. So far I rate this the best Red Curry in all of Barrie. I wish I would have ordered the Red Curry from the regular menu so I could have enjoyed leftovers, it was that good!! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the Pad Thai the taste was not to my liking, but I certainly would not let that stop anyone from trying it on their own. If you have not tried this Thai restaurant you should. I rate it a 4.5 only because the Pad Thai was not to my liking.

Exceptional! After several visits to Thailand and trying very hard to replicate some of their dishes I can attest to the quality and taste of the Thai cuisine here. It is authentic, made with fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. Their pricing is very reasonable. Next time I’m in Barrie we’ll be sure to stock up on a number of their frozen dishes! Well done!!
