I’m going to preface this by saying we normally LOVE sticks. It used to be the best bbq we had and we were in several times a month.
But the last couple times we have been it’s been SO disappointing. I’m hoping this review just helps them pinpoint what’s changed so it can go back.
We ordered to go on Thursday afternoon and got 2 plates of sliced brisket, Mac, and fries.
The brisket was THIN, dry, and we each only had 2 and a half pieces. It was terrible.
Our fries were cold and stale like they had been out for a long time.
And lastly the mac. We had 2 COMPLETELY different looking mac and cheese bowels (see pic) and one was mostly runny flavorless cheese with a little noddle and the other was completely solid, oily, and gross.
We were left almost 40$ in the hole with inedible food and hungry.
Was very upsetting. We loved sticks so we will return eventually and hopefully it will be back to normal but if not it’ll sadly be time to find a new go to place

Really loved it here!! Owner was really nice and friendly and had a very family friendly energy! Got the 2 meat plate with sausage and sliced brisket and mac n cheese and fries! Hands down some of the best I’ve had in a while. The sausage had a nice crisp skin and quite juicy and the brisket had a great flavor and was moist. We also go the chicken tenders kid meal and another meat plate with chicken and chopped brisket. We will definitely be coming here again!!

Got the nachos and a plate of brisket and smoked sausage with beans and fries and it was Awesome! It was juicy and not dry and extremely flavorful! Fries were super crispy! Definitely a good local restaurant to eat at! Definitely on our top five lists! It is super Hard to find a good bbq place here too!

So I’ll start with the positives. The wings had a good tasty sauce, the hand cut fries were good, good portion size and the cashier was friendly. If any of those positives had to do with actual BBQ they would have gotten a higher rating, but the BBQ itself was not good. I rarely include a picture but had to show the barely visible smoke ring on the brisket. The brisket was not smoked properly, no smoke flavor. The lean part was tough and the fat had not been rendered properly, also no true bark. The chicken which is hidden under everything in the picture was moist. However you could not tell it was smoked. Good BBQ should not need sauce this did, but I will add that their sauce was decent.

They advertise that they close at 8 so we made a large order including wings and fries. When we arrived we were advised that they did not have wings or fries and they close at 6:30. Sign on door states closes at 8pm. Would not have completed the order if we would have known they were out of items.

It’s absolutely disgusting in here. The bathroom is filthy. There is mold on the ceiling. The tables are gross. It has a bad smell. The meat is bland and tasteless. The barbecue sauce is straight vinegar. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. The server was nice was the only positive.

Got a half rack of ribs with potato salad, and baked beans. The sides were great. The ribs were horrible. They were overcooked and hard to the point of being inedible I’ve had great experiences here before, but not today.

Came here for 2nd time today and was highly dissatisfied with the entire thing. The cashier was very unfriendly. The food was on the expensive side but was not worth the price. The pulled pork had a ton of fat. The meat in general was very bland and we had 3 different kinds. Would not reccomend.
