Went to RJ’s Burgers (East Lansing) with a friend last week for lunch. I ordered the Double Double turkey burger with a side of sour cream & onion fries (not pictured… because I ate them). The burgers are smashed style. For dessert, I had a small scoop of amaretto cherry ice cream, so good!
Today was my second visit, and I ordered a Double Double with bacon and a side of dill-seasoned fries (this time I remembered to take a picture). Once again, everything was delicious. My burger was cooked perfectly.
You’ll most likely catch the owner, Robert, working in the shop, which is always nice to see. The entire staff is pleasant and friendly, and the décor is super cool—it feels like stepping into a classic soda shop. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend.

Decided to go to RJ’s Burgers with my work Boo and I’m so glad we did. The owner Robert greeted us a soon as we walked through the door. The restuarant was so cute that we immediately started taking pictures. The food was amazing! Many different options and seasonings for the french fries the burgers were juicy with plenty of options for toppings and sauces.
I would 100% recommend giving them a try. They can even accommodate a small private or children’s party.

I was greeted warmly by the owner, Robert, and the staff. There were tons of options for the burgers including vegetarian substitutions, different seasonings for the fries, loads of drink options, and more ice cream than you could ever want! Don’t even get me started on the value for my money as well! This place is fantastic and I will absolutely be coming again!

I enjoyed my lunch with co-worker at the new RJ’s Burgers & Ice Cream Co. at their new East Lansing location. The burger, shake, and fries were delicious! The owner and employees were all friendly. I LOVE all the cute decor and branding. They had cases of icecream and other desserts! I highly recommend!

Great smash burgers and even better French fries! The 50s soda shop vibe is so cool — I absolutely love the colors and fun atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of fresh waffle cones, which instantly makes you smile.
They have so many ice cream choices it’s hard to pick just one. Such a fun spot whether you’re grabbing lunch or just stopping in for a sweet treat. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

Great burgers and fun atmosphere! Fun place for kids with lots of ice cream, shakes as well as tasty burger and chicken lunch options. The owner stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come back again. Also look how cute these rice krispie treats are.

I wish I would have gotten a picture of my burger and my hoagie. My bestfriend & I ordered the double bacon cheeseburgers and the chicken hoagies! They both were AMAZING & very flavorful! With the chicken hoagie we got a side of hot honey sauce and it was so good! The burgers tasted homemade and made with love! I also had the Cajun fries which were good as well. The ice cream nachos were the best I’ve ever had! The service was impeccable & the staff went above and beyond to satisfy our experience! This place is decorated so beautifully on the inside and the atmosphere was very welcoming! I will definitely be back soon!

Great new spot in EL! The atmosphere was cute and fun. The Cajun fries were the perfect side to a really good burger—made to order. Kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries as well. We also enjoyed scoops of ice cream! We’ll be back!

Five stars! From the moment we walked in, we loved the clean and beautiful atmosphere. Every dish we ordered from the Chicken Philly Cheese Hoagie, to the Smash Burgers that are fresh and made-to-order was exceptional. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service—the owner is incredibly personable and the staff is the definition of professional. My husband and I go to both locations and they’ve never disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
