I recently tried Xingying Chinese Takeaway and was genuinely impressed. The food was fresh, flavourful, and arrived piping hot—exactly what you want from a good Chinese spot.
The Salt & Pepper Chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right kick, and the Sweet & Sour King Prawns were generous in portion and absolutely delicious. I also really liked their Singapore Noodles—spicy, well-balanced, and full of veggies and meat.
Service was quick and friendly, and everything was packed neatly. You can tell they care about quality. Great value for money too, with large portions and reasonable prices.
Definitely one of the better Chinese takeaways in the area. Will be ordering again soon. Highly recommend Xingying if you’re craving a tasty and reliable Chinese meal!

Absolutely love Xing Ying! The food is consistently tasty and arrives quickly. Favourites like crispy shredded beef and chicken fried rice never disappoint. Staff are polite and helpful, and the menu has a great variety. Definitely one of the best local takeaways for a comforting Chinese meal!

Ordered food from here earlier today. Service was quick however we ordered chicken fried rice, curry sauce, Spring rolls, Chips fried rice and curry sauce meal and Salt n pepper chicken pieces. At first we thought we had eaten too much but soon after my sister threw up and we both haven’t felt right since. The curry sauce was greasy and everything else was warm felt as though it had been warmed up instead of being cooked fresh. Depending what you get I wouldn’t recommend the curry sauce as we think that’s what made us feel like this.

Appaling service and cold food. The delivery driver supposedly arrived but never left his car to check door numbers or knock and never attempted to call on the mobile number provided. If we hadn’t called after nearly 2 hours, we would never have received our food or any notification of a failed delivery. On speaking to the restaurant, they were completely unapologetic. The order was finally re-delivered some 2 hours 30 minutes after initially ordering and was cold on arrival. Stay away!

I collected my food from the take out, so can’t really comment on the atmosphere. The food was warm and fresh, even when I got it home.
I got salt and chilli chips and there was loads of garlic, which I love. I also got chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce and I’m not exaggerating when I say they are the biggest chicken balls I’ve ever seen!

Stay away if you have allergies!!
I’m lucky mine aren’t life threatening but I’ve been so poorly the last few hours since eating food from here. My husband checked it didn’t contain cow’s milk and the staff confirmed it didn’t. After handing the food over they said it contained coconut milk however that isn’t an issue for me. This food very clearly contained cow’s milk as I’ve been violently ill the last few hours having the reaction I have when I consume cows milk. Whether it’s ignorance or they just don’t care, they could kill someone. Stay away!

Whenever I call to order food, the customer service there is very patient. This is a family takeaway shop that has been in business for many years. The food is delicious and the delivery speed is also very fast.

AVOID XIN YING!!! I wouldn’t even give a 1 star, man on the phone was absolutely disgusting in the way he spoke to me, no customer service skills at all! The food tastes and smells off! Noodles dry, chewy and stuck together as if they’d been sat in the tub for however long then microwaved. Prawn crackers smell of damp and tasted like mold! First and last time I’ll order from here absolutely appalling!!!
