I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times and tried a variety of their biryanis. The food taste is always awesome!

During these cozy Thanksgiving holidays, I was craving something special and decided to try their Andhra-style Mirapakai Bajji. It was truly outstanding! My taste buds were completely satisfied—it genuinely felt like I was eating them back in India.

A must-try spot for authentic Indian flavors!

Driving by and felt like having Idilis and Goat dum bryiani. Overall it was a positive trip. Dining space is small and many people take food out. We were on our way somewhere else. Food was authentic south indian and local to carlsbad. Enjoyed!

We ordered Veg Kadai, Garlic Naan, Hakka Noodles and Chicken biryani. We ordered everything spicy. Everything was spicy and flavorful.

We recently tried the Mirchi Bajji, Masakali Biryani, and Badam Milk.

The Mirchi Bajji was quite disappointing — it was bland (no salt) and undercooked. When we shared this feedback with the staff, they simply said “ok” without taking any action, which was disappointing.

On a positive note, the Masakali Biryani was very good — it was spicy, flavorful, and satisfying. The Badam Milk was also delicious and refreshing.

Overall, while the food had some highlights, the service experience could definitely be improved.

Food is not good at all. Onion samosa were burnt and felt like they are frozen. Ghee roast chicken is not edible at all with full of oil. Veg Hakka noodles felt like regular Maggie we made at home and also blant. Not worth of money.

I ordered Chilli chicken it was delicious. Everything was on point in terms of taste and spices and it is a small place with nearby 7-8 seating positions and everyone should visit once to enjoy the taste.

Got recommended this place from a native Indian at the pickleball court. Food here is amazing, and the prices are pretty fair relatively. The atmosphere is very casual and neighborhood feeling, so it’s a good place to grab a bite alone or with others whenever with no stress.

I usually get the masala dosa, which is incredible for only $13. If you want a more complete meal, their lamb is impeccable so anything with that is great.

The guy that always works the front and takes your orders is super cool, and will explain all the dishes to you and recommend the best ones to get.

I go here once or twice a week at this point, great restaurant.

Went to Hyderabad Cafe and it seriously delivered on flavor. Started off with the mirchi bajji—crispy, hot, and stuffed just right. It had that perfect street food vibe and made for an awesome appetizer.

The Hyderabadi biryani was the real star though—aromatic, loaded with spices, and the meat was super tender. Definitely gives you that authentic taste. I also tried chicken 65 and some butter naan with paneer curry—no complaints, everything was spot on.

The place itself is pretty chill. Nothing too fancy, but clean and comfy. Service was friendly and fast even though they were pretty packed.

If you’re into South Indian flavors or just craving something spicy and satisfying, this place is a must-try.

I liked the atmosphere.

Service was quite slow. We waited like hour and half for the order that too in bits and pieces.

The famous quote pulao was having like too much oil. We couldn’t finish it.

We had poori and chole . The chole was cooked with too much baking soda that we could literally taste it.

Friday evening it is expected crowd but they were not prepared at all.

You can look at my pictures .
