We tried them last year prior to the holidays in Oct and it was AMAZING! Enjoyed their food and price was fair. Prices have gone up since last time but we understood and love helping small businesses. Unsure if it’s a new cook or just a one time mistake but Swiss burger was half burnt and I had to cover it with sauce to remove dryness and unfavorable charred flavor. The hot dog was too charred for my kiddos to enjoy and the elote corn wasn’t drained, it felt like they just poured a can of corn and threw cheese on top. Leaving a 3 because of our past experience and their amazing selection of weiners/Spanish food is nice. They are also friendly people.

Have never eaten anything other than Honey Brats here (they are SO good!) but my husband says the hamburgers and fries are also very good. Service has always been excellent – efficient and the food is always served with a smile. We go there even when we’re not going into Lowe’s.

We LOVE Chef In A Box! Our have used them for our summer picnic and holiday party. The food was great, their team was friendly & professional, & it was very reasonably priced. Their menu has something for everyone, our favorites were the tacos, elote, & the elk & bison brats. Would highly recommend & will definitely use them again!

Omg let me tell you about this place here! First off let’s talk about the customer service, AWESOME I came here my first time not knowing what to expect and have so far been here a few times after in a 2 week span. This food is GREAT & FRESH! Come on that’s what I’m talking about. LOVE IT! We’ve have the Louisiana hot links, chili cheese fries, regular fries and a burger and everything was exquisite! we have nothing but great things to say about this place. We will certainly be back and will be recommending this place to others. This beats fast food any day! I’m so thankful I found this place! Will definitely be coming back and back

Had Chef in a Box at the Castle Rock home show, and was blown away!! I had the Gouda Bacon Burger, no bun, and they put it in a lettuce wrap, which was amazing!! My husband had the Buffalo Brat and said it was excellent! The fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time!! They are at the Lowes on Buckley and the Lowes on Colfax, and will definitely be stopping by to have them on a regular basis!! On top of the food being excellent, so was the customer service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. I often take a quick drive here as an alternative to fast food chains for lunch. They serve a variety of hot dogs – Jalapeno Elk and Honey Bourbon are my two favorites as well as some mexican options and hamburgers.
All are prepared to order and their selection of toppings is always fresh and clean. Definitely worth stopping in.

Wouldn’t imagine such good food from a trailer outside of a hardware store, but it is exactly that! Bacon Gouda burger was very tasty and the Chili Cheese fries are a meal on their own. The Chef was inside was very nice as well

Delicious fresh food! Not fast food so food takes longer, good music makes time goes by fast and just hang out! but is so worth it. We ordered tacos and they were really good. Highly recommend even if you don’t need to go to Lowes’s to shop.
