My first visit with my 3 kids. I found my new favorite spot. I got the Swedish Fish ice and loved it. My daughters got a Cotton Candy Ice and a gelati. My 5 year old got a vanilla custard. We all loved it. Plan to go back lots this summer because they have plenty on the menu I’m looking forward to trying. I highly recommend.

Rita’s is always great! Staff is very friendly and always make it my way. Meaning they mix the desserts to my liking without saying they can’t do that! Like some other icecream parlors! 7/18/20 tonight was different went there and I purchased a quart of custard and when I went to dish it out the middle of the container was hollowed. I’m not to happy right Now. I took pictures and surely will show them . I’ll see what they will do.

I’m feeling some type of way with this place. My friend wanted to get some kind of ice cream and I told the cashier at the front. She said that our total is $4.89. So we gave her the $5.00 bit I said I have the change too. The cashier was rude and gave her 11¢ after I just told her I have change. She closed her drawer and ignored me completely. I love Rita’s but I will never come back to this one again.

Rita’s is always good, the quality of their product is inline with what you’d expect. Being a chain there’s not much difference between different locations. This location specifically has very friendly staff though and the place was clean.

So disappointed.. I ordered a Reese’s Dream Concrete, paid $7, I should say wasted $7. What I received was a cup of chocolate custard ice cream w a spoonful of reeces pb cups. It was in a very small cup, its supposed to have fudge, this had no fudge in it at all, when I asked about the fudge, the person said verbatim “oh u wanted the fudge too” I never said not include it, then he literally squirted chocolate syrup on top, handed it back and that was it. I dont know if its lack of training or they just dont care, but I will be going elsewhere from now on and its a shame. I live very close to the Eatontown location. I could see if they were busy but I was literally the only person in there!!! If thats how things are going to be, Im not going to be the only one not returning to that location!
So after my disappointing experience, I received an email from management who replied quickly and was very apologetic for what happened. I definitely think maybe the person helping me just didnt know how to make the item I ordered or maybe just needs a bit more training, but I appreciated the quick reply and email so Im sure my next experience wont be a disappointment! We all have our bad days! Just wanted to update my review because management made good on my bad experience!

Service was great and was able to give us what we asked but what lacked was the communication because as I was ordering he didn’t even bothered asking for what size we wanted though it’s his job to do so, but overall he gaved us a small and though I wanted a large I didn’t even bothered to ask since I was already unsatisfied.

Never tried till today.. Smallest cup (bout Dixie cup size) $5.00..really??? Mixed ice with a bit of vanilla ice cream on top to cut the acid..vanilla taste of chemicals.. Nothing natural there. Won’t be returning…cute..read your answer..you took my review and used the opp to advertise your business …not addressing the issues..I guess you think the general population won’t see that? And..why would I want to return?
