Lobster Shack is truly a hidden gem — the kind of place you stumble on once and immediately start planning your next visit. The location alone is breathtaking, with beautiful views that make it perfect for both intimate outings and family days alike. It has that rare mix of peaceful atmosphere and welcoming charm that makes everyone feel right at home.
Our server was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and incredibly entertaining with our kids, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious and tasted unbelievably fresh. You can tell they care about quality here.
I also tried their holiday drink, which was tasty, unique, and full of festive flavor. And when my baby accidentally spilled my drink, they didn’t hesitate for a second — they made me a brand-new one with a smile. That kind of kindness is something you don’t always get, and it really stood out.
Overall, Lobster Shack exceeded all expectations. Beautiful setting, great service, family-friendly, and food you’ll crave again and again. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious, lobster grill cheese jad plenty of lobster. They offered seasonal drinks. Service was good. I went to check out the Christmas decor, it was less of a holiday experience than advertised. I think it would be a better atmosphere in the spring/summer.

The Christmas decorations were really pretty. It was cold outside, so the braised short rib and mashed potatoes were filling and warming. We also got the crab rangoon appetizer, which had an interesting flavor. The hot sauce on top was really great.
The lobster mac and cheese and lobster rolls were great, but the cup of lobster corn chowder needed more flavor. The seasonal cocktails are a skip. You’re better off ordering familiar cocktails such as a Moscow mule or beer.

I have visited lobster shack several times. Everytime I have gone the service is top notch. They are friendly and on top of anything you need. The food is delicious. I tend to favor the lobster rolls !! The gorgonzola garlic bread is phenomenal.

Very festive as it is decorated for Christmas. We were able to see the water from our table. Friendly, courteous staff. The menu was hard choose from because of all the great choices. They even had a Lobster Quesadilla!

This place is in a beautiful area close to the water with a view. We found this place by online recommendations and it didn’t disappoint, the staff was very friendly and attentive, our waitress was so nice and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. The lobster roll made our top favorites list and the Mac n cheese was so creamy and delicious. Some of our favorite food in Connecticut for sure.

Overall a great experience. We were sat up top which had a good water view and it was a nice day. The food was good and I felt like the prices were pretty reasonable for the portions. All the staff were very kind as well. This was my first time having lobster or a lobster roll and I think this was pretty good (but have no basis). Had the fried shrimp and they were large and delicious. My friend got the salmon and really enjoyed it as well.

It was such an enjoyable restaurant. The staff was fantastic and a lobster tacos were great. I walked in and was in Christmas Land. It was such a fun ambience on both floors.
