The fish was straight they cut it in half. Make it look like you had 4 pieces. Don’t eat cold slaw. Fries were very hot and plentiful. Shrimp was very hard and over cooked. Hushpuppies were ok. No beer. That was terrible! Kinda slow I guess only 1 person in the back. Can season your food once you get it. Put as much or little as you want.

All of our food came out quickly and was piping hot. Fried rice was a little sweet, but the fried okra was great. Portions were quite large, but the wings we ordered were comically small—you could easily fit them in your mouth lengthwise without any issues. Staff was kind and accommodating.

My first visit to WR Cafe is very impressive! Went to try the porkchops but missed out (they sell out early and fast) and ended up sampling the 2pc Whiting combo . The fish was excellent, and the fries (for my taste) could have cooked more to cripsy, but the meal was overall very good. Likewise, the gizzards were good (prefer mine cooked a bit longer), but they do not travel well. Get them and eat them while there for the best culinary experience. We will definitely visit again, the prices are very reasonable for some really good food!! The Hot Honey wings were a big hit!

Unfortunately, I can’t give this place a decent review because there wasn’t anything to base my judgment on. My party entered the restaurant as soon as it opened but there was no one present to seat us or take our order. We waited 36 minutes to be served until the cook from the back came out and apologized that there was no one to take our order since the cashier was late. It would be prudent for the owner to have a contingency for late personnel (maybe train the people working in the back on the basics of working the register). It’s a shame because I had heard good things about the wings here. Maybe I’ll try again in the future.

Ate there yesterday because Choi’s is closed down and they are right next door. Me and my gf both got the philly cheese steak and fries. The phillies were tasty but we got really bad indigestion afterwards. Boring crinkle cut fries. The girl at the counter was nice but i wont likely return.

Food and service is always great… and if by chance something is wrong… manager and owner will try to correct the issue as long you follow their instructions…. I’ve never had a major issue that could not be solved.
