No gluten-free menu these days but the waitress was able to check with kitchen and advise what was available and could be modified. I shared the pan seared red fish wild rice and asparagus with my mother in law. It was excellent! The fish was flaky and in a lovely cream sauce. Not gluten-free but huns enjoyed his chicken fried stameak with jalapeño gravy! I tried his honey glazed carrots. Found them a bit sweet. Service was excellent and staff are super sweet!

Our server Lacy/Lacey (sp?) was great. She was basically covering 2/3 of the restaurant all and the bar and really knocked it out of the park. She was friendly and prompt. Our food was ok. Portion sizes were filling but overall some dishes were just alright. This was our 3rd time here.

Asked my 13 year old daughter to find us a place to eat in Sulphur, that wasn’t a chain. She picked the Springs. We came in from the second floor sidewalk which is kinda the back door. The main entrance is from the hotel. Once we figured out where we were, the host seated us at a nice booth. My daughter embarrassingly said she didn’t know it was such a fancy place. I asked her to keep it under $20.00. There were several option in that range. She had the Talapia ($20.00) and asparagus. I chose the catfish ($15.00). After a day working in the heat the water was delicious. The food was excellent. If your ever in Sulphur this is a great choice. The fried peaches could use a little less cinnamon.

This PLACE was phenomenal!!! The fish was a tad salty but still delicious. Ha, it didn’t stop me from ordering room service either! The waitress was very attentive when I dined in. The chicken sandwich was my favorite though; and the bread pudding made me appreciate giving it another shot, I don’t plan on ordering it anywhere else because it won’t be as fulfilling. Everything was amazing, I am truly looking forward to making another visit!!!

I ordered the chicken fried steak on two different nights and both nights the steak was burned on the bottom. From looking at it before cutting into it it looked great. They conveniently put the burned side in the bottom. The second time I ordered the steak it was barely warm and literally tasted like it had been cooked for a few hours and reheated. The first time I had it, it was perfect. My wife ordered grilled chicken and it was not hot at all. Room temperature at best. Very disappointed this trip.

I made reservations for this place but we were running late and they were very flexible in changing the time. We arrived and the server came quickly and placed our orders fast, the food did take a bit to come out and the server forgot something on my order so I asked him to not bring it anymore. The food was actually very delicious, we enjoyed everything. Me except my drink it didn’t have much flavor it only tasted like alcohol. The place is nice and has plenty of seating.

What a find! Great dining option if you’re visiting Turner Falls or the Sulphur area. Convenient historic downtown location! Springs is absolutely fantastic! Everything was so delicious. Staff were kind and offered top service. Super delicious! Located inside the Artesian Hotel.

My wife and I spent a night at the Artesian and ate at the Springs. It was wonderful!. For an appetizer we had the shrimp cargot. It was really good. My wife had the salmon and I had the red snapper. The salmon had a great cream sauce and came with asparagus and risotto. some of the best we’ve had. The red snapper was over a pecan rice pilaf and had a maple bourbon glaze. Yum. I also got the honey glazed brussel sprouts, great too. Our waiter, Brandon, was friendly and attentive.

It’s a nice enough looking place. It COULD be great, but it’s actually really terrible. Slow to be seated. Slow to be waited on. Slow to deliver food.
The Spinach Artichoke dip was lukewarm and served in a bread bowl. Very forgettable taste and a waste of money.
I had Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and my lady had a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with fries. Nithing was served hot. Her sandwich had clearly spent an extended time under a heat lamp or in a toaster oven. Nothing tasted better than I could have warmed up in a microwave oven from a frozen package. Just very disappointing for what I had hope would be a special, romantic date.
It’s as if they don’t know how to be fancy. WAY too expensive for the quality of food served.
Save you money and go somewhere else.
