We ate here for lunch between two snow tubing sessions. There’s a larger outdoor seating area and a smaller indoor space, mostly with bar-height tables for small groups, plus two sections that can accommodate larger parties. Each table has a QR code to scan, allowing you to order and pay directly from your phone, and the servers bring the food to your table. Service was a bit slow, but our order was accurate. At the time we ordered, one of the sides was unavailable. The staff let us know right away and suggested a substitute, which ended up being a full-sized portion rather than a side—an appreciated gesture. Of the items we ordered, the burger took the longest to arrive, but it was well made and tasty. The portion of the tenders was decent, and we were especially surprised by the fish and chips—the cod was a very large, full fillet. They do serve sodas, juice, bottled water, etc but also didn’t mind us drinking our own bottled water and also a free water jug was available without needing to purchase beverages. Onsite restaurants are often pricey and/or serve small portions, but this location offered generous portions, good food, and reasonable prices. It was also convenient not having to drive elsewhere and return for our second tubing session.

We went for dinner while staying at the Clarion next door. Food was awesome, service was great. Very small crew. I saw 1 front of house and maybe 2 cooks but they did a really great job. My daughter and I had Beyond Burgers and my hubby had wings. Everything was great! It got pretty busy because there was a historical presentation happening. They seemed to handle it well. We really enjoyed our visit there.

After all that outdoor winter adventuring the night has to be brought to the best close with what I will unapologetically assert is THE BEST BURGER in 4 states from Alstadts Ale House over River/Snow Riders central office/sales floor. All the staff especially the ALL STAR Alstadts Ale Crew are incredible!!!

They were out of marbled rye for the Reuben my wife ordered so they made us complimentary Reuben loaded fries. They were excellent and should be added to the menu. Everyone we interacted with on the tubing hill, in the cabin, and in the alehouse was delightful.

My friends and I had an Excellent experience at Alstadt Ale House in Harpers Ferry! The food was absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we looking for after an evening of snow tubing at Snow Riders. Everything we ordered was delicious and hit the spot. My burger was perfectly cooked and came with a good amount of fries.
Our server, Sarah, was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better with her great service and positive attitude.
The location is super convenient after snow tubing at Snow Riders—just a quick walk across the parking lot. it was the perfect place to warm up, relax, and enjoy time with friends. I highly recommend Alstadt Ale House for it’s great food, excellent service, and a perfect post-tubing stop!

DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE!! The waitress and gentleman behind the bar were very nice. Went on a Saturday which was Valentines Day. One chef, one waitress. Took over 30 minutes to get soda & lemonade. Our food took around an hour. There was 12 of us. Almost everyones order was wrong. The burgers were extremely over cooked. Black hockey pucks! $90 for 2 steak & cheese’s and two burgers with 3 sodas….WAY OVERPRICED even if the food was edible

Ordered thru DoorDash. Build a burger, med rare and fries, that was it. With delivery, tip and fees it was almost $30. From the time I ordered to the time it was delivered was about 25 min and I knew I was going to have a problem and I did. The burger was not freshly made and was cooked beyond edible. The fries were great, but for that price will not try this establishment again.

I wanted to leave a review of the Alstadts Ale House. We had a wonderful evening after snow tubing in the evening at Snow Riders. First, it was so conveniently located right next to the snow lanes. We met Sarah, who explained the menu and talked with us about our adventure on the hills. The atmosphere was welcoming to our group with comfortable chairs and a big table. We enjoyed burgers, chicken tenders, grilled cheese , fries, tomato basil soup, and even mozzarella sticks. Wonderful warm foods after tubing. Excellent customer service with all the staff who spoke with us. 5 stars across the board!!! Wonderful place!!!

After having a fun evening snow tubing at Snow Riders , it was great to then sit back with friends and relax and enjoy some great food. The atmosphere was welcoming and decorated very nicely. The menu selection is nice there is something for everyone. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff and service was excellent. We will definitely be back. 5 stars!!
