I ate in the bar. Very clean and classy atmosphere. Service was amazing and Heather the bartender was very pleasant and on point. Chicken strips were off the hook. Best in town. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A nice resturant situated by the airport. Stopped by here on my way thru town after an all day hiking extravaganza and visiting friends. The food was great and the dining room was pretty quiet when I went during the weekday. Great service and a very lovely waitress. Would definitely recommend if you want something nice that is reasonably priced.

Throughout our 9-day tour of Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier, our 2 dinners here at Freestone Restaurant were easily the dining highlight of the trip. We ate here right after a helicopter tour at Red Eagle Aviation nearby, and this was the perfect ending to the day. We tried the chicken curry soup, bone marrow, and crab cakes appetizers, ordered drinks, and enjoyed the Bison Sliders, Beef Stroganoff, Fish Tacos and Steak. Everything was out of this world delicious. We all shared and loved every bite. The service both nights was fantastic: McKenzie & Emeral deserve praise for their attentiveness, guidance and personality. Overall, we would come back to Freestone any time and highly recommend it as Glacier’s finest!

We celebrated our one year anniversary at Freestone and let me tell you it was absolutely fantastic! What a hidden gem in Kalispell. Being a foodie and former restaurant manager, I’m always searching for places that are above and beyond the normal dining experience. We all have to eat, but sometimes you want something that surprises and wows you, especially for a special occasion. Freestone was that for every aspect of our evening. Our server McKenzie was so warm and personable, she made us feel special the entire evening! The cocktails were incredible and the food was so amazing, we ate every bite! We are oyster lovers and these were some of the BEST we’ve ever had. The whole restaurant is very well appointed, from the real oil candles to the gorgeous cocktail drinkware to the presentation of each carefully crafted dish. We both were blown away and I’ve dined all over the world. This is now going to be one of our favorite spots and we can’t wait to bring family and friends! Please try them, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Beautifully decorated with rustic, cabin feel. Warm and cozy ambiance. Waitress was very professional, pronounced all specialty sauces and variations properly, displaying her dedication and education in her field. Appetizers were delicious. I especially appreciated the salad portion sides. 3 of us ordered a half Caesar. It was just enough to start off the meal and was delicious. Crab cakes came next and I did notice one plate had crispier cakes than the other, but they both tasted good. Our entrees were cooked as preferred and absolutely delicious! I got the Tres Leches Bananas Foster Cake. This is not a traditional Tres Leches cake that is drenched in 3 milks. It is a drier, denser cake, but still full of flavor. I was missing that decadent factor of the liquid drenched cake, but the flambéed bananas and Jameson whiskey sauce were delightful! I’d definitely come here again.

Great food, Collin was a great server and attentive to our needs without being overbearing! Loved the food- boyfriend loved his birthday dinner and smoked bourbon and complimentary dessert! Wonderful atmosphere and wait time was as expected, even after I forget to order lobster mac the first time around- everything came out fresh, hot, and prepared to perfection!

We had reservations, but we ended up spending two hours here waiting for our food and the check. We got the strawberry arugula salad, the shrimp skewer, rack of lamb and their chicken bao buns. The bao buns appetizer was delicious! Excellent flavor and texture. However, the shrimp was tough and rubbery, and the rack of lamb was over cooked, and its rice bed was nearly mush and overcooked. Portions are small but flavorful. It may have been an off night, but the wait staff seemed to forget about us.

Joe was our server. We were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. The service was top-notch. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and presented with elegance. The entire experience was memorable for sure. We had a great time and we definitely plan to come back! Thanks Joe – you’re amazing!

Had a nice dinner at a new restaurant. I’d eaten here when it had been Blue Canyon, but this seemed much better. Decent selection and prices are the opposite of Whitefish = reasonable!!! If you want a nice dinner, quiet settings and decent service this is your place in Kalispell. FYI, we did have a practically brand new server and she was not well trained (didn’t tell us about specials until we saw other plates being served next to us, didn’t know the menu nor drinks available at bar). That’s why I gave it a 4 out of 5.
