Breakfast was awful this morning! To start with it was absolutely freezing inside!! Biscuits are not homemade, they are like those frozen biscuits that they heat in a microwave, & home fries were not done, very hard. Waitress came by asked if we were doing ok, I quietly advised her that neither of our home fries were done, she repeated they aren’t done, and went on to the next table. She never apologized, never asked if we would like something else etc. After she picked up our plates and saw that neither of us ate the home fries she didn’t even offer to take anything off of our bill, & still never did apologize. We won’t be back!! This was our 2nd visit there. Neither time were we impressed. Over $30 for 2 of us to eat breakfast. Ridiculous! Horrible!!

We ordered the big man breakfast, me with sausage and over easy eggs; my husband ham and scrambled eggs, we both had the homemade rye toast and added gravy on the side. The server was the only person on and it was busy, she did a good job with that in mind, she also offered they were training a new cook so hopefully that gets better too. The scrambled eggs came out super dry, the potatoes tasted like that of which toys use for potato salad after pulling them out of the boiling water and tasting one, the ham had a good flavor but was rubbery, the sausage was grainy and tasted microwaved because the edges were tuff. The gravel was cold and you could tell that they microwaved it to heat it up. The rye toast was awesome and had a great taste and the over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Hopefully we caught an off day.

We came to Buckhannon to do our taxes and got here early so we needed breakfast. Internet search took us to this place. Quaint and comfortable setting. Friendly service. Easy to find. I highly recommend it! By the way, I had the Reuben and my husband had the big breakfast with giant thick pancakes.

Food took forever, even though it wasn’t busy. No one refilled my drink. None of the staff helped each other. It seemed like no one wanted to be there. I don’t usually rate places this low. 2/10 would not recommend.
