Working in Waco and craving pizza, but not the chain places, a local joint. We decided on Pizza House because it has the best rating in the area, and it’s no lie. This place is amazing. Located in a small strip mall, it doesn’t look anything special from the outside. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted. We noticed all the local memorabilia on the walls. Service was very friendly and they answered all our questions since it was our first time there. It was Tuesday, and the special was 2 medium 2 topping pizzas and a 2 liter for $22. The pizza came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The pizza has a thinner crust like NY style but not a thin crust. The toppings were plentiful. You can taste the bread, sauce, cheese, and toppings in every bite. Now that’s a good pizza. I don’t usually eat the crust, but even that was amazing, and I ate everything. If you’re craving pizza in the Waco area, take the short drive a few exits south. It’s worth the extra few minutes. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. BTW they won the clean plate award from the local media, so you know they run a clean, sanitary, food safe establishment. Highly Recommend.

On a Thursday night, we ordered a take out over phone and stopped by to pick up, they were preparing for closing, and stopped cleaning as we walked in and waited till we pick up and leave, they was very welcoming. The pizza was delicious, full of toppings. We ordered a Vegetarian pizza and they added Jalepenos without extra charge.
