Granny’s Bakery is such a treasure to our town. I love this little store, love the owner, and the wonderful staff! They truly make you feel like family. Granny’s does an amazing job of supporting the community and local bakers, and she brings so much joy through her classes, parties, and events. She is genuinely a blessing to our community. Everything in this bakery is absolutely delicious, every single time. We love treating ourselves and sharing Granny’s treats with friends (and our dog) because everything is made with so much care and love. We also love that we can get gluten free, egg free, and/or sugar free treats for our friends and family from Blue Engine Bakeshop here!!

A charming bakery in Celina offers a wide variety of delicious treats. We usually pick up their sourdough bread and sweet pastries as gifts, and they never disappoint. I haven’t attended any myself, but I’ve learned they also offer a range of baking classes throughout the year at very reasonable prices.

My husband planned a cake decorating class for my 46th birthday for me and some friends/family! Absolutely the best decision he could have made.
Mikala (the owner), Shekinah, and Eric, made our experience very pleasant…
Mikala was awesome. She was patient, incredibly knowledgeable, funny and knew how to put a class of non/amateur bakers at ease.
FYI: You’re decorating a whole cake that you take with you! My family ate the cake at my birthday dinner a couple of hours later…it was DELICIOUS!
If you’re looking for an interesting, hands-on, unique experience for your birthday…Granny’s Bakery is a fantastic option!
Thank you, Mikala and team for your care, professionalism, and kindness!
(My daughter has already requested to have her bday party with you…I guess you’ll be seeing us again!) Cheers!

I did not come on here to leave a review to be ugly, but factual. Upon arrival, the place is very cute and the vibe is small town feel. Love the wire whisk that provides a cute picture opportunity and the outdoor patio, where dogs can come along. The baked goods looked wonderful, but we did to offer not partake in any. The inside is super cute and they offer a lot of neat options for the community to partake in as far as classes for different things.
The experience went south after ordering our food. They have a very small limited menu for lunc, which is okay. We ordered the grilled cheese, which was good. The chicken spinach artichoke flatbread was less than to be desired. When it came out, the chicken breast was cut up on top of what was supposed to be, the “flatbread”. There was nothing flat about the bread. I took one bite of the chicken and it was tough. I thought .maybe it wasn’t fully cooked by the way it looked so I gave it back to the kitchen. By the time they gave it back, it was so tough and dry, it wasn’t even edible. Made me wonder at this point, if it wasn’t a matter of it not being cooked, but possibly freezer burnt. ♀️ Needless to say it went to the trash. I didn’t even eat it. .Maybe we did ourself a disservice and should have just stuck to something sweet.. I wish them the best though!

This family-owned bakery is an absolute gem! Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Their baked goods are amazing, and their gluten-free/flourless chocolate cake is genuinely one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Also, the blue engine gluten-free cookies are out of this world!! The staff is so friendly, and Eric is especially helpful and welcoming every time I’ve come in! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out. Can’t wait to return!!

We love Granny’s! We moved here about a month ago and Granny’s was one of the first local places we tried. We grabbed a couple cinnamon rolls and a slice of the peanut butter cake, and it was truly one of the best slices I’ve ever had!
So good that I asked my husband to order a full cake for my birthday! He did, and that was even better!
We love Granny’s and can’t wait to try our next cake!

Love this bakery! I drive over 20 minutes from Frisco just to get their amazing bread and sweets. Their desserts are perfectly balanced — not too sweet, just incredibly tasty and fresh every time!

Granny’s is a fantastic spot! My husband and I stopped by for some after-dinner sweets, and everything we tried was delicious. We both loved the cheesecake bites, and he also enjoyed a snickerdoodle cookie. We picked up a loaf of French bread to take home, and it was just as good as the desserts.
They’ve thought of everything—even being dog-friendly with bags available. Overall, Granny’s is a must-visit for tasty treats!

Such a cute little spot with that perfect hometown feel! The patio is absolutely lovely, and the whole place just feels so welcoming. They offer fun baking classes and have an amazing selection of cakes, pies, cookies, and so much more. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Our favorite cake tonight was the vanilla light, fluffy, and full of flavor. It would be perfect for a wedding or birthday celebration! I also noticed they’re offering cream pies for the holidays, so I’ll be calling next week to place my order.
As a fellow baker, I truly appreciate what they do sometimes it’s nice to let someone else do the baking and just sit back to enjoy. This shop makes that so easy!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the less complimentary reviews. I was visiting Celina for the first time on business and decided to check out the old town before heading out. A good bakery is one of my favorite simple pleasures. Went in to get some muffins to take home. Was planning on maybe some pie, too, but honestly nothing looked great. Muffins were dry and tough and had that artificial flavor my teen compared to “no better than grocery store flavor.” You can’t be bakery called Granny’s in a cute historic square and serve muffins (and i suspect other pastries) like this. Cute place, friendly service—food—so disappointing.
