Amazing experience! The food was fresh and delicious — I had the grilled fish tacos and they were absolutely fantastic. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
What impressed me even more was the kindness of the people running the truck. I accidentally left my bag there with my ID inside, and they went out of their way to come all the way to return it to me. I was traveling, so it would have been a huge problem trying to fly back without my ID.
Their kindness and honesty meant so much to me. Truly wonderful people and great food. I’m very grateful and highly recommend stopping by!

Let me tell you, the first bite of this delicious food brung tears to my eyes. I moved to Pagosa 3 months ago & have had nearly no luck with food here, till today. The flavors are insane! So so good! He also gave me a sample of his Butternut Squash & Granny Smith soup, it was fabulous! You can taste/feel the love he puts into making his food 🙂 10/10 recommend.

This week my son and I ate at Chef’s Custom Cuisine, and wow, what a treat! The food was delicious, dining under the covered tent next to Tennyson Sculpture Garden & Park was pleasant, and our interactions with the owners was superb.
There were many things on their menu that looked enticing, but I am a sucker for Fish and Chips, so I had to try it. The beer battered cod with sidewinder potatoes really hit the spot. It came with a unique and delicious slaw as well as a house-made sauce and tartar sauce as well.
My son opted for the Baja Chicken Tacos, and they did not disappoint! The generous portion of zesty chicken tacos were accompanied by sidewinder fries and salsa. He graciously let me have a few bites, and I would definitely order them for myself in the future!
Lastly, we finished our dining experience with an order of the Funnel Cake Fries… oh my. Soooo good! Anyone who has grown up in the south and visited state or county fairs will happily take a trip down memory lane. They perfectly capture the nostalgic taste of funnel cake in a convenient (and much less messy) form of fries. These battered, deep-fried sticks came rolled in cinnamon sugar with two dipping sauces. The chocolate sauce was on point, but the caramel blew us away!

Amazing experience from food to great service from the owner. We ordered the fish & chips, chicken baja tacos, gumbo, fried pickles, and steak baja tacos. 10/10 recommend. Lastly we got to try the funnel cake sticks- which were also absolutely delicious!!!

As a local in Pagosa Springs, my go-to place is Chefs. It’s my first stop whenever I’m looking for a meal. I love their gluten-free steak tacos; they’re incredible! The service is quick, and the restaurant is right next to the beautiful Tennyson Sculpture Garden, making it a lovely spot for lunch in downtown Pagosa.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Chef Patrick and his sweet wife Sara have elevated food truck food to another dimension. My favorite are the Baja steak tacos with sidewinder fries. The outdoor covered dining area is very nice. Be prepared to be blown away.

Chefs is the BEST! I work right down the street which is dangerous because it’s so good. I usually end up with the Nashville hot chicken tenders. Just the right amount of spice, the flavor is amazing not just hot, the dipping sauce compliments so well and don’t get me started on the mac & cheese. they are always consistent! Thank you, Chefs! What an amazing chef at this food truck. We had the fish & chips-incredible. The chef brought us a signature hot sauce that was amazing- not too hot, but so flavorful! The fumnel cake sticks w caramel sauce- OMG! Great place to eat & excellent people to hang with!❤️
