Stopped at El Taco Veloz after getting some groceries at Superior. It wasn’t too busy, and I got my food quickly. The staff was friendly. I got asada and pastor tacos with a Jarritos. The tacos were ok. Not super flavorful and the tortillas fell apart pretty quickly. That being said, I did take them to go so it might have just been the transport.

They take cash and card. However, if you’re being cautious for covid protocols they are not masked, but do have sanitizer.

Nothing better than a fish soup when you sick. Not just good ambience but a delicious menu. Close to Superior Grocers market and plenty of parking.

They are always stingy with the lime and salsa. Bring your own limes, lol. I bought a burrito and got 1 wedge of a lime. I literally had to stop by 7 eleven and buy a lime. Very bad, and I go often, so this happens frequently. I definitely need a new burrito spot

Best pozole and caldo de pollo I’ve had at any restaurant! Tastes home cooked and the staff is very friendly. Their horchata is bomb too, because its not to sweet. Love this place!

I had a chicken enchilada & an asada sope a la carte just to try it out & the enchilada cheese wasn’t melted, it was stiff & the chicken tasted like if it was out of the can plus the sope was soggy. They never came to my table to check on me once.. Horrible first impression never going again!

My father specifically asked for a wet or “juicy” burrito from this place with extra cheese, but the burrito was not at all wet, barely had cheese, and literally so dry that he couldn’t even eat it. No flavor at all. Completely bland. What a joke. Eight bucks later and he came home to eat a bologna sandwich. What does that tell you?? Certainly won’t be back.

Co-Worker and I came here for lunch to give it a shot. Will never go back again. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla, it was mostly grease. Also ordered a chorizo burrito, no flavor and full of grease as well. We threw it out, never again will be go back
