Sadly, an update:
Was dragged in here by another sister inlaw for another gathering. I was unpleasantly surprised this time thinking things would go well. Where to start?
My order was wrong, I received about half of what I had ordered and it was stone cold. Couldn’t eat the salsa as it tasted like tomato paste to me. Waitress flew by, asked if everything was alright, and left before anyone could say anything.
If I get dragged there for family obligations again I will get a glass of water and wait till go get something from somewhere else. Anywhere else. It was that bad.
I must admit, what I did get would have been okay if it was even room temperature.
Sister Inlaw dragged us here. The wife and I had been here two other unsatisfactory times and were hesitant to go.
But we were pleasantly surprised. It took a while for the food to come out for a party of 14 but everyone enjoyed their dinner. The quality of the dishes were certainly better than the last time we were here a year or so ago.
The salsa still tastes like ketchup.

Pretty good Americanized Mexican food at Kinda High prices.
Beef Taco & Fajitas was good.
Tamale WITHOUT SAUCE had excellent flavor! They should always be served plain.
Server was excellent & friendly, tho a little uncertain about menu. Food arrived VERY quickly – the new Cook is FAST.
Good chips & good salsa.

Delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere. Came here with a big group for lunch. For a small town, they had a big crowd, but they made room for our group. I ordered the pizza quesadilla. Wonderful choice. It was delicious!

Ordered take out reiterating FRIED chimichunga at least 4 times for 2 orders and a large queso. ONE TIME I have gotten correct order on a dine in. NEVER on a take out. This time as usual got big blob pillow of fajita filling in gummy, sticky flour wraps that never even SAW a frying vat, much less was in one. And DID NOT receive the large queso for which I can’t even tell if we were charged for because of NO RECEIPT!! And restaurants want you to TIP JUST FOR DOING THEIR JOB even when they DON’T EVEN DO THAT!!!! Last cent they will get from me.

Called in an order for Take Out. Shrimp Happy Plate with chips, salsa & queso. Paid a little over $20 for the food. The Shrimp Happy Plate was so salty it was barely edible. I wouldn’t mind paying the price they charged if the food was at least decent.

Love this place. Employees are Friendly. Not a long wait time for service. My meal was hot and fresh when I received it. Always tastes good. One meal can be shared with someone else or split into two separate ones.
