Really solid spot. Great seafood options. Waterfront backdrop view with the bridge. Stellar, experienced service. Ondus is a fav in the Vancouver area.
I found the smoked old fashioned to be a fun little experience for multiple senses. Most importantly, the drink is delicious. The pleasant smell and flavor linger long after you unveil the smoke.
Their baked jumbo lump crab cakes are a total standout. A must try if you like crab cakes. The accompanying seasonal salad thoughtfully brings a sharp acidity to balance the richness.

My husband and I have enjoyed our dining experience at Ondus on the Waterfront. We wanted to try Dine the Couve 2025 (3 for $33) menu. All dishes were very tasty and portions were generous for the value. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to share an appetizer – we both got an individual one! Our entrees of Romesco Salmon were excellent – well seasoned, perfectly prepared. We had to take desserts to-go, as we were quite full after our appetizers and entrees. Head chef Tanner stopped by our table, checking on how everything was. His welcoming and friendly demeanor added to our enjoyment of dining here. Service was prompt and pleasant. We are planning to return to try more of their regular and seasonal dishes.

Was really excited to try Ondus after seeing someone post about it in a local food group. The best thing was the shrimp appetizer, everything else was just okay. We sat down and weren’t greeted for about 10 minutes which was odd because it wasn’t a very busy night. Got the French onion soup- the cheese tasted off as well as the crouton in it. Almost tasted like something with freezer burn on it which was kinda weird. The shrimp appetizer was really good. My fiance got the steak frites. I got the marry me chicken. Despite the restaurant not being busy, both of our dishes were lukewarm and did not have enough salt. The broccolini was just plain, no seasoning or garlic or anything. The steak frites was decent, but again, not hot. I would come again to try brunch, but as far as dinner, I expected more. Nice ambiance and nice music. Beautiful hotel. Just need to season the food more and make sure it’s hot.

While I have not been to the restaurant personally, my daughter and son in law brought me a piece of carrot cake home. I was watching their 3 boys so they could have a date night. My daughter HATES carrot cake. The pastry chef came out and asked her to please try the carrot cake. My daughter did and she LOVED THE CARROT CAKE! So much so that she brought me home a slice. I love baking! I am a dessert snob. This is the best carrot cake I have ever had. It’s definitely shareable. If you have a dinner 4 people could easily share it. Or order 2 and take some home. It has a great thickness between each layer of cake and frosting. There are what taste like golden raisins in it. I did not taste coconut. There are some nuts which I don’t usually like in my cake but they worked. It also came with a caramel sauce and whip cream. I do hope to visit one time when I’m back in town.

Only got a pic of my food but went to breakfast at the AC hotel and ate at Ondus. It’s located inside and is separate from the buffet that the hotel offers. I had the Lox Benedict with steelhead. It was great and a perfect portion for breakfast. Our server was fast and professional. It was slower on a weekday but he was working as host and server and was very attentive to us. Quick to refill water and coffee and checked on us often. Highly recommend.

I have over 950 nights in various Marriott properties and can honestly say hands down this is the best food I have had the pleasure to enjoy in any of the properties. The breakfast chorizo hash was so good I thought I died and went to heaven. The chef deserves serious recognition! Thank you Marriott.

Great food at a very reasonable price, with excellent service and a very nice view and location. The executive Chef, Tanner, came out to say hello and inquire about the food, which is a rarity these days and shows a level of appreciation for the clientele and a desire to get feedback. Shocked at the current 4.4 rating on here.

What a great place if you have allergies. We were greeted by the executive chef who was more than happy to accommodate Gluten, Dairy and Soy allergies -going as far to say if you call ahead they’ll be able to make sure to fix you something including dessert that may not be on the menu.
With those 3 allergies in mind I had a cauliflower steak which was very yummy and a hearty portion for the price along with a side of orange strawberry salad Our table also ordered pasta, fish and chips and whisky cherry salmon of which everyone thought was very delicious, well priced and great portions.
Dessert portions were huge! The dark temptation was a hit at the table.

Our group of 6 (was supposed to be 8) thoroughly enjoyed our late breakfast on a quiet Saturday morning. From the crème brûlée French toast to the spinach and mushroom omelette- everything was tasty and hot. My favorite was the crispy potatoes which paired well with my eggs and English muffin. The view is nice, but partially blocked by construction, but for an overcast December day, we couldn’t have been happier with being able to see the river. Jimy was our server and provided top-notch service. Thank you, Ondus, for accommodating our annual get together.
(We did have one small issue with an over cooked food item, which the chef came out and apologized, asked me what he could do to make it right and they also comped me a free dessert, which was more than generous- and delicious)!

Great new addition to the waterfront and especially to the AC Hotel. For me the stars were definitely the cocktails and the dessert!
We were lucky to get here while it was still happy hour so we decided to order a lot of small plates to try different things. The Brussel sprouts and French onion dip in particular were my favorite! The Mac n cheese, pork belly, and wings were pretty good too but wouldn’t necessarily order them again.
The tropical lemon meringue is like nothing I’ve tasted – I never would’ve thought pineapple would go well with it but boy was I wrong. The chocolate cake was also decadent and heavenly.
Great cocktail menu with good drinks. Service was top notch as well – friendly and attentive. I’d love to come back and sit out on the patio.
