I’ve been a regular customer at Nihari Heaven for a long time, but today I was very disappointed. The portion size was shockingly small – only two small pieces of chicken for $15, only bones in bryani That’s ridiculously expensive and not the standard I’ve come to expect here. I really hope this was a one-time mistake and that the restaurant maintains its quality in the future.

Today I went to Nihari Haven for Iftar with my family. They charge $30 per adult and $15 for kids under 11. However, I was surprised that they charged $15 for my 2-year-old baby. Honestly, it doesn’t make sense to charge the full kids’ price for a toddler who barely eats. I think they should reconsider their policy and clearly differentiate between a small child and a baby.
Aside from that issue, the food was very good and the service was also good. Overall, I still recommend Nihari Haven to try their delicious food during this Ramadan.

Just got back from Nihari Haven’s Ramadan buffet and it was one of the best buffet experiences I’ve had in Dallas. Everything was amazing! We were a group of 8 and none of us complained about anything! We all left feeling that we got our moneys worth. We were one of the last ones to leave, and not once did anyone come and tell us to leave. The food was plenty, and we never had to wait for any food to be filled! I would definitely just go back for the Lassi and Fruit Chaat!

Just had dinner at the restaurant hoping for some good Indian food. Ordered samosas that were ok but still kind of cold inside. Got the butter chicken because I did not feel like eating spicy today. The butter chicken was outrageously spicy. I send it back and no apology or anything. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the service and kitchen at this place.

The manager and staff at Nihari Heaven go above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The restaurant’s setting, inside the Wyndham DFW Airport Hotel, provides a comfortable and elegant atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience.

The food was not good, overall very bland. The Shinvari Kharhai was just raw tomatoes on top on boiled chicken, they didn’t charge for it so that was nice of them. The waitress was nice but just a little slow, the atmosphere was really nice but we had a cockroach at our feet so that brought the rating down a bit. Would not recommend going based on current food quality.

A hidden GEM! Hands down the one of the best Indian/pakistani food in DFW. The BEST nihari and biryani. The restaurant is so pretty and It elevates the Indian food experience. The restaurant is inside the Wyndham hotel, so park and walk inside the hotel lobby, and then follow signs for the restaurant. I come back every month, even though I live 45 minutes away. Highly recommend!!

This place is truly a hidden gem in DFW! The food was absolutely amazing and tasted so authentically Pakistani. We ordered the biryani and nihari—both were cooked to perfection. The biryani was rich, flavorful, and aromatic, while the nihari had that deep, comforting taste you only get from slow cooking. Everything was served fresh, and the staff’s warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The ambience added an extra charm to the whole experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for real, flavorful Pakistani food!

Last weekend, I went to Nihari Haven, having read all the reviews. Regrettably, the food was extremely disappointing, with no flavor. We ordered nihari, beef seekh kabab, chicken karahi, and mutton karahi. The karahi dishes were drowning in tomato paste with zero spices. I will not be returning and would advise against it. I hope the restaurant will take feedback constructively and make necessary adjustments to enhance their cuisine.
