My family and I just love this place! The food is absolutely delicious and made to order! The staff, especially the main waitress, (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) is so upbeat, happy and just uplifting and it just makes for such a great upbeat environment. It’s also really awesome being able to watch planes take off from the airport! I would definitely recommend stopping by and getting anything off their menu!

I don’t know how Barney Fife stayed so thin, if Thelma Lou was my girl I’d weigh 750lbs.
My wife and I both had the pig and pepper sandwich, I had a side of baked beans, and the boss had the mac n cheese. Delicious and plenty of it!!
Services was perfect!! Attentive without being overly so.
And the atmosphere was really special, today, anyway. There were 3 WWII era planes out for a flight and we watched them taxi to the end of the runway and take off. Was really cool to see.
So the food’s good, the service is fantastic, and we will certainly be back.

The grilled cornbread is the best! I’m so glad I got it to try. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was delicious. I like the skin on fries. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Got our check (I love when they do this) shortly after our food with small pitchers of tea for refills.

This is a great place to stop for dinner! The service is amazing but I clearly said no cheese on my burger and it came with cheese. Other than that though, the food and service was great.

Great little spot! Friendly service and great home cooking. Standouts from our meal were the BBQ Baked Beans, Blackened Chicken, and Fried Okra. The fried cornbread biscuit was also wonderful. I’m really glad we stopped here as we were passing through!

I went with the bologna and cheese on toast and lemme tell ya, that meat was THICCC with three c’s! Everything on the menu was priced very well. Located right across from Shelby Airport.

We flew in just for the bbq. Arrived right after they opened and the dining area was already pretty full. We sat ourselves and our server was quick to get our lemonade order. We got the pulled pork sandwich and tots. Everything came quickly. Tots were golden fried, perfectly crispy. Pulled pork was topped with a cabbage slaw inside a toasted bun. All very good. Served hot and fresh. Server was very busy but took the time to be friendly and welcoming. Nice homey place to eat. Will definitely return.
We’re not from the area, we just flew in for their bbq. They’re located at the end of the Shelby Co Regional Airport runway. You have to walk down to a gate, thru or around a small cemetery and across a two-lane rd. Maybe 5 min walk. Well worth it.

Stopped in for a quick lunch bite, and was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful offerings. The southwestern egg rolls were delicious as were the corn nuggets. Their hot dogs are the best around creamy coleslaw and chili. Home cut french fries are delicious

Our family loves this place! Excellent burgers(my favorite is the pimento burger), delicious bbq, the disco fries are awesome! We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve had from here. We eat here weekly. Yum!
