Don’t let the simple shop front fool you. Cedars Cakes created a fabulous birthday cake for my daughter. It had a very detailed design with a leopard gecko atop rocks on a desert base. Cedars’ design artist did a great job in replicating the photo we provided. Equally important, the cake was moist and the chocolate and lemon flavors were delicious. I highly recommend Cedars Cakes for your next cake need. We will be repeat customers.

I ordered a customized cake from Cedars Cakes for my mom’s birthday celebration. It’s a cute little bake shop in the Baltimore County area that has been open for about a year now. I reached out to the shop and spoke with the owner to discuss my vision for the cake, and after seeing the outcome, I have to say it was well executed! The cake had four layers, and we had the option to choose two flavors – so we went with vanilla and lemon. They both tasted so good! I’m usually not a fan of lemon anything, but I was really impressed with this one. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the outer red icing. It wasn’t edible and had a very bitter taste. I understand that darker icings require more food coloring, but this was to the point where it couldn’t even be eaten.
Because the actual cake itself was really good, it was easy to overlook the frosting. I usually don’t eat too much icing anyway, but we chose the red color because of the theme of my mom’s party. I’m sure a lighter colored frosting wouldn’t have had such a bitter taste.
Cedars Cakes also sells cupcakes and other baked goods, such as cookies and macaroons in the store. If this bake shop was here ten years ago when I was attending college in the area, I know I would’ve frequented so often! The cake was absolutely delicious and my mom was very happy with it. Thank you, Cedars Cakes for such a beautiful cake!!

People. Get your cakes here! I was sick and couldn’t make my son a birthday cake so I ordered from here. The cake is perfect! It looks better than the reference photo and holy cannoli it’s delicious! One happy kiddo and one bougie cake. You guys are the best!

I ordered a Japanese themed cake for my daughters 15th birthday. Long story short I ended up without a cake for her birthday. I had to wait for someone to come open the store to get the cake, the icing was patched in places and discolored and the place the stencil print out I provided upside down so it read “Birthday Happy”. The woman offered to fix it but I decided against that after she touched the cake with her bare unwashed hands in front of me. The little one level cake was not worth the $90-100 I paid. I was gravely disappointed and saddened because it was the day of her party and that was to be the icing in the cake. However, I ended up with no cake for my baby girl’s birthday. It also was very unoriginal, no creativity was put into the cake at all. No what I expected from the reviews.

Cedars cake so far is the best i have ever had. The added joy to celebration by making the cake as beautiful as it could be, then very moist, right flavors, delicious blends and taste.
But I can’t skip the initial great part of been attended to by an amazing lady Seyi. Then getting updates from Seyi et Lola on the progress and the elegant lady who delivered it.
My overall rating for your service from the first dial to the consumption is 15/10! You’ve earned a customer for life.

Cedar Cakes created and delivered a coconut cake for my sister’s 50th birthday party. Working with Lola was very easy and she created the exact design I asked. The cake was a hit at the party. Cedar cakes is now our favorite cake bakery. We found the bakery during a Sweet 16 cake disaster from another baker, and the staff went above and beyond to save the day hours before the party. Cedar cakes dried up my daughter’s tears when we showed her the cake worthy of her celebration. Thank you!! We had a two tier cake, 1st tier chocolate and 2nd tier vanilla w/ cookies and cream. It was moist and delicious! We will definitely be ordering our future cakes here.
