The State Room is Lebanon’s only upscale (but still affordable) dining in town. The menu is curated to perfection and offers options that will expand your tastebuds. The norton braised short ribs with cheesy grits is my personal favorite. The cocktails are immaculate and the atmosphere can’t be beat. The service is top notch. It’s one of my favorite places for dinner!

Seriously some of the best food I’ve had. I woke up still thinking about how delicious it all was! If you need a new date night spot or want to go somewhere more upscale without having to drive to Springfield or the Lake, this is the place to go! I had the truffle fries for appetizer and they were PERFECTLY crispy! The shrimp scampi entree was so good and perfectly balanced in flavor. The sauce was . Then I had bread pudding for dessert and it was like heaven in your mouth!! 10/10 would recommend any dish here!

Everything about this spot is exceptional. Best food in town. Best drinks in town. Best service in town. Best atmosphere/vibe in town.
The poutine with the roast on top might have changed my life. So good. AND THE CHICKEN POT PIE… best I’ve ever had.
And don’t sleep on the drinks and desserts. I had never liked bread pudding before my life but the State Room bread pudding might be my new favorite dessert of all time.

Wow wow wow. First off, it’s so nice to have a fine dining restaurant in Lebanon now! I ate here with my husband and inlaws and absolutely everything we tried was top tier. I had the chicken pot pie. Loved the flaky crust and the dish was soo flavorful. We had the truffle fries and I thought about those fries for weeks. I had a mocktail that was so refreshing and yummy as well! I didn’t get dessert, but tasted the bread pudding that my family got, and wished I had gotten one myself. I didn’t even think I liked bread pudding. Holy moly! The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. We went in on a night that wasn’t very busy so it was nice and quiet. The servers were very attentive. 10/10 experience! Will definitely be back!

The State Room Parlor in Lebanon is truly a hidden gem. I’ve eaten there twice now and every dish has been cooked to perfection. The truffle fries are incredible, the chicken pot pie is comforting and flavorful, and the Norton braised beef short ribs with cheddar grits were absolutely outstanding. I finished with the caramel apple bread pudding and it was the perfect ending to the meal.
The presentation and plating are beautiful, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. The portions are well balanced too. I left perfectly satisfied without feeling overly stuffed.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience feels thoughtful and well run. It’s clear the owners genuinely care about their business and about providing a great experience for their guests.
If you’re looking for a place that offers a finer dining experience in Lebanon while still being mindful of price, The State Room Parlor is definitely worth visiting. I’m already looking forward to my next meal there.
