I was greeted immediately upon arrival. Turns out Friday night is their fish fry night and I heard they had the best fish fry around this area. You got it , I ordered the fish. I ordered the four piece and it came with your choice of potato and coleslaw and rye bread. They give you the option of breaded or beer battered, I went with the beer batter. I was definitely not disappointed. There were nice sized pieces of perfectly prepared cod. Generous portion of french fries and super delicious coleslaw. They offered to tartar sauce or a cozy sauce. I chose the cozy sauce and that was marvelous as well! I will definitely remember this place the next time I’m in the area. I just happened to stop for gas and stumble upon it.

First time ever trying this place after hearing mixed reviews and I’ve honestly gotta say it was pretty great. I ordered my usual I get every where, 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon and buttered white toast. The eggs and hash browns were the best I’ve had!! The bacon wasn’t really all that wonderful but that’s only because I’m a tad picky The service was impeccable. Definitely recommend (at-least for what I ordered lol) and I will definitely be going back.

Was driving through town. Stopped in for some chicken dumpling soup which was amazing along with the roast beef gravy mashed potatoes. Very friendly staff would definitely stop back

The Schultz’s Cozy Cafe is a bit of a misnomer because the place is quite large and it has more of a truck stop atmosphere. It occupies half of a BP gas station building. The place is conveniently located right on Highway 45, so you can’t miss it. The coffee is good, and we got plenty of it. The breakfast food is pretty standard fare, and you should expect to pay around $10 or more for a regular breakfast entre. The House Omelet for $14 was huge. They have daily lunch specials, burgers, etc., and feature fried chicken as well as Friday fish, but the place closes early at 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Friday they are open until 7:00 pm. I hear that pie is great, but we were too full to try it.

There was quite a wait for the order. Then for the food, but it was a decent breakfast. Surprising to find this during a fuel stop. No problem parking a truck & trailer.

Came around with homemade donuts for people. Very nice from the time we came in to the time we paid the bill. Food was good. Not a huge portion but okay. My son loved the meat omelet. I had the country fried steak and eggs. It was good. Would have it again.

If you don’t know the area, the place looks like an old truck stop. Don’t let that fool you. The food is great, as well as the service. We had the fish fry and it was really good. Highly recommend stopping in as you pass through!
