In April of 1915 Kearney’s City Council passed an ordinance to pave Central Avenue with Brick. They fired up the Kiln and paved the street that same year. Now it’s our turn to fire up the Kiln and bring Kearney a new watering hole, BRIX. Brix features signature drinks such as THE KILN, 1915 and The Brick to show our appreciation for those who came before us. Add in a wide range of cocktails, beer, our shot board, along with our daily specials and Brix will soon become a regular destination on your trips to “The Bricks”.

Went to Brix on Tuesday 7.13.22 on Karaoke night,I’d been going there every Tuesday night for Karaoke for several weeks,never had a problem there with anyone,until last Tuesday, I sat at the bar so I wouldn’t take up a big table when I was by myself, as I went up to sing my 3rd song I went back to my seat afterwards to see that my 1/2 full drink was no longer there,I asked the one bartender what happened to my drink? She said “I don’t know ” walked off and ignored me,so I ask the other bartender, She said ” I can’t keep track of everyone in the bars drink you should have taken it with you “
1st the Karaoke person doesn’t want drinks brought up there with them as they can easily spill and wreck there equipment,
2nd on a busy night which it was,I told her someone would take your seat if you took your drink with you,I then ask if I could have a free drink to replace the one they threw away,she said if I pay for it she would, I said it should be no charge for it,then she got real Hostel with me started shouting at me,acted like she was going to hop over the bar to fight me,then said she was calling the police on me and started dialing,I told her I had did nothing wrong and to go a head and call the police, she stop dialing and told me I was being rude,I then ask if she’d just give me a Pop,she said ok as long as you tip me and say “please” I told her if she’d give me a $1.50 Pop,I’d forgive her and this incident could be settled, also said I wouldn’t say please when she was so rude and you only get a tip when you get good service, she continued her unprofessional behavior, I told her I’d talk to the owner/ manager,my attempts to contact Scott the owner has not called me or messaged me.
although I thought this was a great fun place,I don’t believe I’ll ever go there again,very poor customer service
