Order to food: 7 Minutes
Plenty of parking in a small strip-mall type lot.
Arrived around noon, the door was locked or at least really hard to open. There were people inside and they let us in.
I ordered a #7 banh mi thit nguoi (cold pork) and #8 banh mi thit heo nguoi (BBQ pork) to go. The banh mi measures just about 8 inches (see tape measure for scale).
The cold pork traveled much better and remained crispy. Any hot meat will likely steam the banh mi on travel and you’ll end up with a soggier bread. Not the fault of the restaurant. They add quite a good serving of meat and pate, which I’m a fan of.
Would come back for a quick banh mi again. No issues paying with inKind.
Absolutely amazing! The wagyu pho was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The broth had incredible depth, the noodles were silky, and the wagyu beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Everything tasted so fresh—from the herbs to the lime and chili on the side.
The presentation was beautiful, and the portion was generous. Service was quick and attentive, making the whole experience even better. This is hands-down one of the best bowls of pho I’ve had in Houston—comforting, elevated, and unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone who loves pho or just wants to try something special!
I decided to try their Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) last night and IMO, it’s the best bowl of BBH that I’ve had other than taking the trek down to Chinatown Bellaire.
The broth’s spice level, aroma, taste and color were all spot on to what I would expect a good bowl to have. Just the right amount of meat to noodle ratio in their bowl as well.
I don’t usually take unfinished soups home, but as I’m writing this review, I’m eating my leftover BBH and it’s still pretty darn good!
Highly recommended for those who haven’t tried BBH or are looking for a solid BBH option within the city.
I had to ask for water three times before it came out and there was a tiny gnat in it.
The ambience was otherwise fine but I won’t be back.
Some of the best Pho and Bun Bo Hue in Houston, certainly in the area. It’s a bit more expensive than places in Asian town but you’re paying for a nice clean ambiance plus you save money on time and gas.
I like that they have a variety of meat and ingredient options. Some of the more white washed places have a limited selection of cuts.
Friendly and attentive staff answered our questions, took our order, brought our food quickly and checked up on us.
