I saw the bakery on Google Maps and we popped in. Very nice employees and tasty treats. Great prices as well. It’s a simple, old school bakery. Nothing fussy or pretentious about it.
My only thing was the driveway, because I am a wuss. Just be forewarned that the drive is steep in and out, and the road out is crazy steep…it is called High Street…hahaha. I mean, it was worth the drive but if you are a scaredy cat, park somewhere else and walk there.

Loved this bakery. Found out about it word of mouth. The doughnuts are to die for. Coconut Cream, Turtle, Lemon and Raspberry filled, Peanut Butter, Glazed and many more. Mr Burkholder was making Apple Fritters. Pies cakes sugar cookies. I love the powered nut snowball cookies. Breads coffee and a drink case. I’ve been there twice already. Prices are very very good. This is one of my favorite little cookie bakery places. These classic home style delights are absolutely fantastic.
It’s really hard to imagine that you can go to a “tiny” commercial enterprise and get something so special, fresh, natural and delicious.
My favorites are the ginger snaps and the oatmeal cookies.

So glad I found this place. The donuts are delish! My son and I had to eat one before heading home because they smelled so good. He’s only 2 and he said “YUM!!” After his first bite so that’s how you know it’s good.

Don’t go here if you have any kind of nut allergy. They’ll make a product that is chocked full of walnuts and then not label it. Fortunately Walgreens was close by and I was able to take my sister there for some Zyrtec before her throat completely closed up. I don’t actually think it’s legal to mislabel products like this but of course nothing will happen – buyer beware.

Wow, came here with a group of four, ended up getting 7 pastries and they were all great. Favorites were the apple fritter and the tropical coconut donut. I wanted to try more, but no room. Wish they had coffee other than Keurig.

Tiny little place we found while in the area. So glad we saw the sign. The donuts were outstanding and very reasonably priced.

We’ve been coming to this bakery for years, and it never disappoints! The cookies are perfectly baked, the breads are always fresh, and the donuts are a weekend must-have. It’s a true neighborhood gem, and we’re so lucky to have it nearby. Highly recommend!
