Born & Bred is an eclectic neighborhood restaurant located in the Shops at Hilton Village in Scottsdale, Arizona. The restaurant offers a dining experience with a focus on wood-fired dishes, including whole-roasted fish, steaks, and fire-kissed vegetables. There is also a show-stopper bread service with unique and local-leaning accouterments. While pizza will not be the focus of the menu, there will be a few pies available, both traditional and not-so-traditional. The drinks program at Born & Bred features classic-leaning cocktails, wine, and beer. The drinks menu is helmed by Beverage Director Melissa Orgler, formerly of Pigtails. Born & Bred is open for brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and takeout. Open Daily.

Wow wow wow best lunch special in town! Caesar salad is amazing, as is the pizza! Not to mention how incredible the service was! It was so busy that the hostess Jaime was serving tables and served us! She killed it, she is truly a jack of all trades, and the bartender not only was making drinks for the whole restaurant but also gave exquisite service to about 10 tables at once. The food is good enough to come back for, but the service ensures you will definitely be returning time and time again!

Stopped in for a birthday lunch after hiking Camelback. I had heard about the great salads so thought we’d give it a try. It was AMAZING!!! We sat at the bar and ordered fun cocktails to start and the Scottsdale Salad with Salmon for much. We each ordered a salad and split the salmon add-on which worker well.
The dressing is one of the best I’ve ever had and the salad itself is a great mix of yummy ingredients! Highly recommend!!! Perfect way to celebrate a birthday lunch, climbing a mountain or just a beautiful day!

This establishment is absolutely amazing! The food and service are superb and plated perfectly. The food is delicious and freshly made, it’s definitely a must try or visit again. Wow. Cool spot. I came in for a late lunch on a beautiful Saturday. The windows were up and the doors were open. The breeze flowing through this place made me feel like we were at the beach. The buffalo chicken wrap was so good. Presentation on point. Condiments and fries accompanied the wrap and it was all so delicious!

So the kitchen took over two and a half half hours for mine and my coworkers food. The restaurant was not packed and the kitchen was not overwhelmed. It was a logistical nightmare and it was embarrassing to see the kitchen staff eye gawking the plates trying to figure out what is going on with 9 steaks that were ordered. They looked lost trying to figure out whose plates were whose. Yes, they comped mine and my coworkers meal after I said that I didn’t want to eat it and wanted to leave and have it to go. However, this place put such a bad taste in my mouth that I left the uneaten food on the bar table because this restaurant wasted my time and I would rather not eat their food. They even gave me and my coworker a gift card for the inconvenience but I was so unhappy that I even threw that away because I didn’t want associate myself with this business.

Went for brunch and had such a great experience! Service was quick and attentive, and the food really impressed us. We tried a secret menu item—the pepperoni chicken Caesar wrap—and it might just be the best wrap I’ve ever had. The sausage pizza was another standout; the tomato sauce was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cocktails didn’t quite hit the mark for us, but with food this good, we’ll definitely be back. I’ve also heard their happy hour is fantastic, so that’s next on the list!

This nice looking place was and will be a come back to visit for sure! We had the lunch special pizza and salad. Amore and Americano pizza both were DELICIOUS! Gigi provided such awesome service. We admired her hustle, greeting customers, serving, attending the bar and STILL making us feel comfortable at the bar, not rushed. Highly recommend!
