However, there are a few areas that could use some attention. The restaurant wasn’t the cleanest during my recent visits, and unfortunately, the food is never hot when it’s served. It would also be a huge help if they installed some shades. If you happen to eat here at the wrong time, the setting sun is so bright it will absolutely blind you while you eat.
It is a decent spot for a quick bite, but a little more focus on temperature and upkeep would go a long way!
The entire restaurant was a mess and disgusting. Dining room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in more than a few hours. The line where the food was being prepared was so covered in old food and other gunk – you could tell it hadn’t been wiped off in quite some time and let alone cleaned. The sneeze guard was nasty and foggy, too.
The food itself was fine. Though, portions are abysmally small (my burrito was so small it fit into the palm of my hand, despite getting a full sized burrito) and the burrito was poorly prepared and poorly wrapped as well. Everything about how the burrito was made made it more of a chore to eat. Also, the ingredients weren’t hot and were barely room temperature despite eating very shortly after buying it.
Now onto service, and as someone who worked here during HS, I have a lot to say about this. First of all,
like previously mentioned, the line was disgusting. But also, many things were just completely empty on the line or just hadn’t been changed in a long time. Steak was swimming a juice, ingredients were cross contaminated, and so on. One of the lady’s working put on her gloves to make a man’s order, then proceeded to go to the drive thru to hand out an order. She, with the gloves on, opened the window, picked up the food, handed out the food to the person, and then closed the window and went back to making the person’s food with the same gloves. That same lady was a shift lead and didn’t even know how to use the cash register and didn’t even know there was coupons. The other lady working seemed extremely confused. My girlfriend tried to order a normal burrito but (and i’m not sure of this, maybe she was trying to upsell and it just came out wrong) the lady somehow heard smothered. My girlfriend doesn’t eat here and had no clue what that was, so sheepishly told her yes (this could be considered my girlfriend’s fault, but some clarification would’ve been nice. but also, like, my girlfriend didn’t even say a single word remotely close to smothered!).
The ladies seemed nice, though. And that was the only thing preventing me from just walking out. But overall, well, like I said, it was maybe one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. And I feel like I wasted my 23 dollars. I’ve eaten here before many times and it’s never been remotely this bad, so maybe this was just an off day. I’m not sure, but after tonight, I don’t feel like I want to go back and find out.
But the lady claiming she is a manager is snotty rude an likes to throw underhanded comments to customers.
