Rustic and quaint. Delicious food. Nice bar inside with tables and a cozy fireplace and an outside dining area with heat lamps and a fire place and a 2 nd bar.

We ate outdoors and ordered a variety of dishes. Don’t let the first pictures fool you that this is a biker bar. It is located in one of the richest parts of Maryland smack in the middle of prized horse country. This simple, but somehow elegant I ate the entire thing! Thin and crispy about 14″ of amazing, fresh flavor. My wife got the French Dip and it was a surprisingly big sandwich, a little heavy on the onion but otherwise, good. The other couple ordered chicken salad platter and pork tacos….also, good! All in all we will drive the hour to come back here.

Nice environment – staff is friendly. Drinks were yummy. The food was meh. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The wings did not taste fresh. It had an off smell where the chicken smelt a few days old. There was no pink in the middle but the skin was very soft without any crisp and the taste and texture was off. The flavor of the wings were good, just didn’t taste right overall. Entrees were meh as well. Food was warm not hot at all. Felt like they just microwaved it and served. I love giving places like this a chance but wasn’t happy with the food. Will definitely come back and give it another shot but def recommend making sure the meats and chicken are fresh and not sitting and just served with flavors to mask the taste.

What a great spot. The bartenders, Jim and another whose name I cannot recall, were personable, professional, attentive, and charismatic to say the very least. The pizza was outstanding. The drinks were accurate and refreshing. So far, every menu item has been delicious and better than expected. The dacor feels like a cool Hangout that is intimate without feeling exclusive.
The one concern I do have involves an employee who I believe is a manager. He was tall, marshmallowy, had a goatee, and gave off very creepy vibes. Specifically, I saw him approach and attempt to intimidate two young women who were playing billiards. His demeanor was aggressive to the point that I felt compelled to approach the situation. Apparently, this slovenly “man” was upset because the two young women were having a private conversation about someone with the same name as an employee at Butler Cabin? Anyway, he started making threats towards the one woman to the point where I stepped in. There is no reason for a “manager” to try to intimidate women. He had a completely different demeanor with me and I suspect it’s because I am a man. I hope he is dealt with sooner than later so I can continue to patronize this place and feel comfortable recommending it to my friends who are women.

Staff were good even though they were swamped. Loved the patio area. But the one thing I can’t stop thinking about is the pizza. It is incredible. Has to be the best I’ve ever had.

Ok ok. Middle of the woods truck stop vibe, decent drinks, basic bar menu and a pool table. That’s all I need really. Met a few pool sharks. Good atmosphere. Loving what the new owners have done with the place.
