This restaurant has been in business since 1973 and runs like a well oiled machine. Menu options include steaks, sandwiches, pizza and more.
We went on a Saturday at 7 and got the last table. Plenty of bar seating, high and low top tables, and a few booths. Rustic decor, a few TVs, clean environment. There is an adjoining room with pool tables, darts, juke box, and games.
Dad had the cod off the senior menu, I had the pizza special with boneless wings. All delicious! His meal was just right for his smaller appetite, mine could feed 4.
Server pleasant and attentive. Recommended a drink for me and I LOVED it. I rarely have alcohol but was in the mood for a little something. She suggested the key lime mule and it was AMAZING.
Our food came quick, too. We were in, fed, and out in an hour. At the same time did not feel rushed. The restaurant looked full of happy people. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked great.
A & G missed the 5 star due to the bathroom. No soap and needing a thorough cleaning. Otherwise – top notch in every other way.
Our bill was only $40! We tipped well and enjoyed the heck out of our visit. Look forward to going back for a steak sometime.

Being a football night in a bar I expected a little noise and they accommodated which I accepted. I thought the waitress was very accommodating but I was not at all happy with the meals. The steak was raw when I want a medium I know I could have sent it back but I made do. fries were cold I thought the price was fair they brought it out and when I paid with a card they informed me after the sale that there was a 4% up charge I had plenty of cash to pay but no one told me I think once was enough for me

Best damn burger ever!!! Needed a drink refill half way through but didn’t get it until they brought the check. Still the best damn burger ever tho. I would add a photo but I inhaled the burger. Maybe next time.

What has become of the A & G? We used to love this resturant and we were happy to see that it had reopened. But what it is now is nothing close to what it was. Weak coffee, room temperature food, all served up in the loud bar with the good old boys tying one on. The topper was a service charge for paying with a card. Too bad, so sad.

Fantastic service from the waitresses but the food could be better. FYI you should tell your chefs that hamburgers taste a lot better when you use FRESH NOT FROZEN BEEF. If I wanted a burger that tasted like a gas station’s I would have just gone to Casey’s.

Horrible. Pool table kept getting the balls stuck. Burnt food, moldy lettuce on the sandwiches, old rotting salad, leaking bathroom ceiling, (women’s), no hand soap and a mouthy waitress who added her own tip to our bill after she added it up. Never again. To many other places to eat in Creston. I recommend any of them.

Disappointed. I have been here a few times. And it wasn’t very good. I had company in town so I thought I would try it one more time. I should’ve known better! Waitress took our order, delivered our food, and gave us a check. That’s it. Our drinks sat empty and she didn’t even come around. Period. Food is really decent at best. Comes on like a steel cooking sheet. I will just stay away from this place… Disappointing……
