Wonderful dining experience in Virginia Beach!! The duck breast was outstanding…my partner and I shared that dish and two small plates: 1) peppers and chorizo and 2) Fish Dip…not sure where they get their bread but it was the perfect accompaniment to the dip. The dip was pretty mild tasting so even if you’re not a big seafood fan, you might be pleasantly surprised. We each got two cocktails and we were really impressed with the creativity of their cocktail menu and the drinks delivered!

Super cute, and tiny spot with a creative yet small and flavorful menu that hits the palette just right. The clams were to die for and the olive oil cake was the best I have ever eaten!!! This little spot is DELISH!! More of a local vibe and the people are awesome!!! It’s so good I have been 2x in 2 weeks! This place doesn’t have a lot of seating so book ahead and go!

Delicious+Locally owned+by the beach= my favorite combination!
The half chicken is what pulled us in to Lovesong and it did not disappoint! I’m still dreaming about it and telling everyone who will listen.
The clams with bread for dipping in the sauce were excellent. The smoked fish dip and the anchovies immediately brought me back to Barcelona Spain! SO good!
Staff was professional, idk if it was because we were loud and just coming off wine fest, but didn’t feel the warmest/friendliest. And that’s ok. We can be a bit much.
Service was very fast. I really enjoyed my visit and really must go back to try more of the delicious offerings.
-one thing- guys! If you’re not already on it- Please fix the bathroom lock!!!!!

Best duck I’ve ever had. What a wonderful, drop-dead, sinfully delicious meal. The restaurant is perfectly-sized, small enough that the service was efficient (shoutout Allie the server!) and VERY quick. As you walk in, the aromas from the open kitchen hit you and instantly make your mouth water. The curated cocktails were decadent, highly recommend the “Japanese breakfast” and the “holiday in Cambodia.” Service was so fast, we were in and out of dinner in an hour. As you can see from my photos, we literally scraped every plate to get the most of the heavenly sauces. The Gnudi and Duck plates are a MUST ORDER. Thank you love song!! We will be back.

Thrilled I finally got to try out Love Song. I’ve walked past daily; always busy with a charming vibe. They didn’t disappoint!
Sitting at the bar felt like having a culinary front row seat; no barrier between kitchen and guest, just pure energy and creativity on display. The bartender was a delight, with plenty of good recommendations to guide the night.
Every dish was created with intentionality had flavor in abundance (sometimes a little too much, looking at you Dijon-packed clams ) Luckily the baguette balanced things out some.
But the star of the evening? The duck breast. Perfectly cooked rice, rich au poivre, and just the right amount of indulgence. Something I’d easily order again.
Great music. Beautiful vibes. Delish food. Superb wine selection. And truly wonderful people. What more can you ask for? Would definitely come back.

We ordered the duck breast, chicken, scallops, salt cod fritters, harbor lights / in the cut mocktails, olive oil cake and chocolate mousse…everything was truly exceptional. The highlight for me was the duck breast…it melted in my mouth and was cooked to perfection. The olive oil cake and chocolate mousse were also highlights…not overly sweet, just the perfect balance of flavors. The mocktails were refreshing and flavorful as well. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend for a memorable meal!

Love this place! Very cute vibe inside & has a whole bar in the very back. The food is excellent & they have great protions!!! We had the:
– 50/50 vodka & vermouth martini, with a little orange bitters: Amazing & wish I could have had 2 (driving)! Finally, a place that knows how to make a real drink & it was mixed perfectly. Loved the orange flavor!
– Mushroom Tartine: The ingredients sound odd as it also has squash, but it was delicious!
– Smoked Fish Dip: Very good – a little creamier than I prefer, but a large serving & did taste good.
– Chocolate Mousse: I’ve had this twice now & the mousse tastes great & that freeze-dried meringue is so creative & delicious! Very large portion & great to split with even 3 people.
Our server gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend!

I went there without a reservation so I knew I would probably have to wait. I went to the Lounge Bar in the back and there was seating available immediately. Not my vibe at all… the service was great and the food was great. It was a little pricey for the quantity, with certain items, that you get. However the food I ate was really good.

We enjoyed the atmosphere at Love Song, and their happy hour was fantastic! Miller Light beers for just $3. As an appetizer, we ordered the marinated anchovies and olives, which were delicious!! We also tried the cod fritters and little neck clams, and the chicken. Everything was very tasty, though the portions were not very large. Keep in mind that the dishes vary by season. For dessert, we had a delicious cheesecake. Very good option for a casual happy hour, or a dinner with a partner or group of friends.

Such a cute little date night location. Their limited menu means you should check the website beforehand to ensure they have something you will like. My only complaint was they advertise themselves as a wine bar, but only had a selection of 4 reds (which all tasted pretty similar), 4 white, and 1 sparkling. That definitely didn’t give wine bar to me lol. We got the half chicken and salad lyonnaise which were both very good. I would go back based on the food but not for the wine selection.
