New owner. He’s made some upgrades, but it still has the local, hole-in-the-wall attitude. Staff are friendly and they usually have a waitress as it gets busy. Daily specials. Great beer prices. Full bar, not just a beer joint like so many others around this area. Very diverse crowd and locals that are laid back and easy to have a conversation with. Plenty of TVs and the staff will turn the station if you ask. Digital jukebox and you’ll hear everything from country to rap to rock and metal. Electronic dart boards and 2 pool tables. Large patio on the side.
This place quickly became my after work stomping ground, and I’m glad it’s here in the community.

If you want to be waited on, this is not the place for you (maybe if you’re actually at the counter). I’ve given them a couple of tries and they still act like you don’t exist. The bartender actually walked by us at least 8 times (although she was on her phone.. And still ignored us) If you like to shoot pool be prepared for very uneven floors. I wanted to like it… We prefer dive bars, just not this one.

Definitely not impatient. We played $20 worth of music and listened to all but one song. We played at least 7 games of pool. Amount of times we were waited on….0

Great staff, terrible owner. The kitchen isn’t bad but it closes way too early for a bar. They should serve food till at least 11pm. Owner didn’t get permits to fix the roof so the city of Angleton may be closing him down soon

I am in town for solar project and my first time to explore the town was last night. Seen the Roadhouse and pulled in and man did I like it a lot. This will be my favorite watering hole after work for the next 18 months. Great atmosphere, great service but didn’t try the food. Will have to on my next visit. I was really impressed when the bartender serving my cold beer with a koozie.

$Tip well$, you will be remembered!! You get what you come for. No punks or pussie’s here. If the service is not quick enough, then walk to tha bar yourself. It not a big place!! No one is too privileged here! Good music, Good fun, Good drinks, Good people, Good food, karaoke … if you don’t like it, don’t come back, it’s as easy as that!!

Awesome place. Courtney and Sarah are awesome wait staff. We stop in 2 or 3 times a week to unwind from work. They know our name and what we drink. Small hole in the wall with great atmosphere. The owner is a cool guy.. lots of times there is pizza or food to snack on. Good people… Good times!

I was in the area one day and looking for a good place to get something to eat to go and I happened to walk into this place. There was a wonderful lady behind the counter who took my order which was a chicken salad grilled chicken salad very nice. When I got the salad back to my motel room there was enough there for two meals. If you want to get your belly full that’s the place to go.

Bartenders we’re rude. Was hard to get then to get me another drink. Kept ignoring me and i had done nothing to provoke it. If you leave an open card they trend to overcharge you. Got me for an extra 20. Used to be they had good workers. Has gone down.
