can taste it. The sweetness level is good since I like to taste the sweet, but also have the coffee taste and scent hit me. Perfect proportions on the Nanas! Now, I always like to try different coffee shops and their signature or seasonal options, that being said A$AP Yams was unlike any other coffee i’ve had. It’s a yams and sweet potato coffee with orange zest which you can taste for sure, but it’s subtle enough that you know it’s still coffee. I had it with oat milk as well. The sweetness and coffee taste mixed beautifully. Everyone should try this creation at least once! The milk foam art was crazy as well, very talented. I’ve been looking for coffee shops that hit my standards on how I like my coffee and I think I might have found one of them.
Restrooms (2) are clean and have urinals too! Single use, not shared.
Nice music is playing in the background.
I ordered a latte – it was delicious, smooth, with well-steamed milk and no bitterness.
They have their own roastery, which is definitely a big plus.
I also tried a burger with a mushroom patty – the taste was interesting and well balanced. Fresh bread and good ingredients. I liked it.
The service was fast and polite. If you are in the neighborhood, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back here for sure.
I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the Biscuit Sando and the said cortado. The biscuit sando came on a house made maple butter biscuit, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, jam, and cheese.
The biscuit alone was scrumptious, and I would order one of these next time warmed up with just a side of butter and jam. That would make me a happy camper. The eggs of the sando were well seasoned and scrambled. The breakfast sausage they used was unfortunately lackluster and did not bring much to the party, so to speak. It was very thin, a little over cooked, and on the dry side. This sando would truly benefit from a thicker juicy breakfast patty. Nevertheless, the sando was quite good as a whole.
The cortado was very well made. It was well balanced and offered great flavor and a very good smoothness. The service was friendly enough. There a very good amount of inside seating. It’s a great meet up spot.
My daughter got a hot chocolate and I can’t remember which latte I got but it was DELISH!
There’s plenty of seating. Great vibe here! Staff is very pleasant!
Buko Pandan Latte (cold)-the Pandan was bold, perfect sweetness, tasted the espresso
Uncle Ace (cold) – seasonal. Orange blossom and vanilla. Tasted honey and orange peel
B.S. palo santo (hot) – I got it hot to taste more of the spices. Remind me of a Mexican coffee or mazapan with nutty brown sugar flavor.
Be prepared to stand in a line. Took 30 mins from start to finish. The vibe is very trendy hipster-ish. Has old school vintage vinyls, tape player, Dee jay on certain nights. In the back there was a flash tattoo vendor kind of like Henna tattoo. Another vendor in the corner promoting jewelry. Nice neighborhood cafe with quality drinks.
They sell food and other canned drinks like juice, beer, cider, soda.
Great space with seating inside and out. It’s all street parking. The 3 green spots in front are 30 minute limit except for Sundays.
