The Birdneck location recently opened around the corner from me & decided to order The Works New York style on Sunday 11/16/25 and it was very good. Ready and hot when I picked it up at 5:30. I haven’t had Papa Johns pizza in years and hopefully will be getting more often. Please keep standards high and I will be back!

I don’t know how anyone can possibly have a negative review on this Papa Johns! Hands down, the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The delivery service is just amazing. I’ve never had delivery from people with such great attitudes. “Thank you, y’all are awesome!” I said with a smile, he says “It’s what we do!” Yes it is sir! Me and my family are enjoying this tonight. I ordered the pasta, cheese sticks, and two pizzas. Me and my husband both are crazy over their pizzas, and they came on the fly, super hot! Delicious. Will order again.

Have ordered from this location many of times over the years when I’m out the oceanfront. Always been for delivery food is always hot and fresh when I get it grape flavor actually comes with the pepper and the seasonings with some places don’t give you unless you pay extra. Would recommend this location to anyone who loves pizza it’s a good place to try. If you haven’t tried the new meatball pepperoni pizza it’s delicious Sorry I didn’t review sooner thought I had already keep up the excellent work many thumbs up five stars

They left sauce out of my order that I paid for. When I called to ask for a manager I was told no.. and I asked for their name on the phone they said no.. very unprofessional service and I but $50 a week from them.. not anymore.. DO BETTER!

So, I was coming off of a 14 hour shift, checked the website and called to make sure the store was open before driving 20 minutes out of my commute way to get a meal. They tell me “we stop taking orders at 10pm” I say “that’s not what the website says” and they proceed to tell me I can call or place the order online. I call twice to have my call deferred to a central hub. I call a third time and get ‘transferred to the store’ where I watch them ignore the call. There was no sympathy shown, no apologies, just a woman trying to LITERALLY close the door on my hand and push me away “because of security reasons.” I’m not saying I don’t understand safety, but I’m also saying I was nothing but polite and asking for anything I could do to get food after my long day. Papa John’s used to be my number one pizza place and I can safely say the treatment I received here was so abhorrent I’ll never visit another Papa John’s in all of Virginia Beach or any of the seven cities.

If you want to use the Upside app don’t bother wasting time with this store. The manager on duty had no interest in trying to figure out the offer. This manager was also extremely rude and impatient, and I would give the store a -5 star rating based on his “leadership”. I don’t know about the food quality because I was too frustrated and left.

Food is reliably good, and if it isn’t they won’t hesitate to fix it! Papa John’s really has the best pizza, and their Papa Dough rewards program is great. Always fresh, and your food is completely customizable to your liking. They always have different deals and coupons. My favorite thing to order is a pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and pineapple, or their BBQ chicken papadia is a big hit as well.

I visited the Papa John’s Pizza location today at 4 PM and ordered two pizzas. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The customer service was very poor, and the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Additionally, the pizzas were not tasty at all. Overall, I cannot recommend this location. It’s disappointing when both the food and service fail to meet expectations. I hope they can improve in the future. Specially the customer service

Picked up the new promo pizza it was so good. One of the better Papa John’s pizzas I’ve had. Located at a good spot. Right outside the beach. Sure, there is a ton of great local pizza spots too. But if you want consistent food quality, fast and friendly service, can’t go wrong here.
