Absolutely delicious. The owner recommended the street tacos, specifically the Tacos Al Pastor, and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Worth the drive from Watkinsville/Athens as this place is better than most of our local options. Will definitely be back to try more things on menu.

This was my first experience and it was a to-go order. They opened in 2023. Family owned and operated which I had the pleasure of discerning myself from my experience. My expectations for typical American-Mexican cuisine were far exceeded. Rice, beans, ground beef and queso dip have to be spot on for me to consider it a regular haunt for myself and they hit all the marks by far!! They’re using real lard 🙂 I ordered mixed fajitas as a creature of habit, I usually do twice a week. While there wasn’t as much char as I prefer, there was a decent reaction on the well marinated chicken and what I assume was flank or top round from the lack of marbling. It was great! Chips and tortillas were fresh an hour before they closed. I was also given some house made hot sauces to try which were awesome! I’ll definitely spread the word about this spot as they certainly deserve it! It’s about 5 minutes from the QuikTrip on Lexington Rd. All in all, it was a great experience just to pick up my order! I can’t wait to dine in and try the Birria! I love going to restaurants where you feel like Family and they did that my first visit even with it being a to go order. Thank you Garfias!

We drove here from Athens, 8 miles away, passing many Mexican Restaurants on the way due to their great reviews. And wow, was it worth it. Most probably, the freshest food we’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Superb service and at a great price. Don’t miss this place if you’re within 20 miles!! 🙂

I was driving between Winterville and Athens and looking for a lunch I could order as I was leaving the area. I ordered to-go through their website to be picked up in the restaurant. It was a quiet late Sunday morning, but there were a few large parties there, so I was pleasantly surprised that my order was hot and ready when I arrived ~10 minutes later! The staff were very friendly. I got a tamale (with shredded pork) and Daniel’s Tacos—both were great. Really well seasoned (including the tamale masa) and generous portions compared to what I’ve had elsewhere. My friend enjoyed her shredded chicken chimichanga meal! On Sunday, they seem to have most of the parking lot to themselves, so plenty of parking, but I think it’s worth the drive out on any day!!

My family and I enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was awesome! We got to meet the chef and made sure to let him know that the food was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and atmosphere. We will definitely be making a trip back really soon.

Great restaurant. Super glad we stopped by as we traveled between Helen and Statesboro. My husband had to get Daniel’s Tacos, as his babe is Daniel and how they’re made here are exactly how he makes his own at home. These were even better than homemade! We also got horchata and it was perfect, sweet but not too sweet so we were able to let our toddler try some for the first time.

This is a great little Mexican restaurant a little off the beaten track, but worth the detour. Service is always fast & friendly, and while nothing on the menu has been “the best ever” when Ive tried it, not one thing has been a disappointment. Better than most similar restaurants in town.

The chile verde was one of the best meals ive ever had. Teared up it was so good. Rice, beans and chips were excellent as well. Wife got the chile relleno and chicken enchilada which she loved as well. This is a must try if you are in the area
