Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered meatless breakfast items! Not only did it take over 20 minutes to get my order when I was second in line. They car behind me pulled away. They somehow managed to take a 4th order who came and went before the person ahead of us. They repeated it back to me and still wrong. I ordered a breakfast bowl meal(NO MEAT). Thankfully, I wasn’t charged for the drink and hash browns I didn’t get however the biscuit egg and cheese(ONLY) I ordered somehow came with bacon and cheese only. I have a pork allergy and I’m a vegetarian. No one is doing me any favors by putting bacon on my food! I said no meat 3 times. I don’t live on that side of town so going back with a toddler in tow is a serious INCONVENIENCE on top of being the opposite of FAST food. I won’t be back again!

Stopped here on a road trip. Wife needed to use the bathroom and was hungry. It was 8pm on a Friday. The inside was clean and bathrooms as well. The area was not gross or unpleasant. Staff were nice and got us our order promptly. Food was real good. Took some photos for ya’ll.

As with everything else in the world the quality has gone down. The meat was cold, the bun was hard and the onion rings were only half cooked. On the service side the employees were super nice.

First impressions are a lasting impression, that being said this was first and likely my only chance to try this chain. Despite the reviews I thought I would give it a chance since it was only a couple of minutes from my hotel. Service could’ve been better, young lady at the register was counting her money for her shift but never acknowledged me, not a huge issue. Someone finally came to take my order and was apparently not very excited to be there. My order was not right, no bacon when I requested it, fries were soggy and warm at best and the burgers was…well…a burger. Nothing to write home about, that being said my first impression was subpar and actually disappointing.

It’s a decent burger, fries werent very good. Waited 30 minutes to get my food while standing in the lobby. Place was pretty busy but they only had one counter person on duty and he was definitely overwhelmed trying to keep the place afloat.

Took about 5 minutes to finally take my order. Then asked me to merge lanes. I left didn’t want to risk waiting 45 minutes for Whataburger.

I was traveling with my child and I stopped here around three in the morning and there was about six cars in line however they took at least an hour to get my food out to me it was cold as if it had been sitting for over an hour . employee that came up to my vehicle smelled like weed. I was at the window for at least 20 minutes before someone came to attend to me and during that 20 minutes, I had noticed that they were all sitting in there laughing and talking while while me and six other cars were sitting in the drive-through absolutely ridiculous service I will never come back here again shame on them . they gave me somebody else’s order . then the order had pickles on it which i’m severely allergic to which I mentioned to them. I ate one anyways and ended up in the ER . terrible service

Some boys are nice and friendly I don’t know there’s just some things I wouldn’t allow my employees to do in front of customers like standing at the front counter and drink beverages stand there and chew gum while you’re talking to a customer every place you joke around kid around you got to have some fun in your place of employment but there’s also a limit as well so and they seem to have a good time working with each other and it seems like yeah atmosphere is fair second time we visited within 2 weeks and I would go back to this location again the cashiers in the front or friendly and they go above and beyond there was one that did not but for most part overall customer service is good Gabby I believe it’s a manager and she’s sweet kind and she knows how to handle her employees she does it with respect and she still has them enjoying their job she would absolutely be my first choice to hire as a manager if I own an establishment like that thank you Gabby keep up the great work

Pulled up just before 11pm, only one car ahead of me. Got to the speaker, asked her to please give us a moment, conferred with my wife, and then placed our order for our meals, and she asked if that was it. I said,”Uhhhhhh…one sec” as I scanned the desserts (a reasonable person would understand what I was doing, and my intention to purchase more). She rudely cut in and asked if I wanted ketchup as I was asking for 2 apple pies. Then she asked again, more rudely. I repeated, “Yes, I want ketchup.” Waited a pause, and then, “And 2 apple pies.” Then she asked how many apple pies, and seemed confused about what kind of apple pie (no idea what that was about), and I said I would go elsewhere and drove away. The whole time she had a condescending, disrespectful tone, like she REALLY didnt want to be there and wasn’t paying attention; she should be obliged.
