I have eaten at many Chinese restaurants in my life but this by far has the worst food out of all of them. I usually give the benefit of the doubt but the food my family and myself received was just gross. The hot soup was greasy and looked old and moldy. The chicken with cashews had 4 or cashews with strange looking chicken. The chicken fried rice looked good except the chicken had black spots. I mean how can you mess up chicken fried rice???? Egg rolls were ok but no duck sauce was offered. I was afraid to eat it but I decided to give it a try and yes it was awful. Never again!!!!!!

This is a Chinese restaurant and it is EXCELLENT. Lo mein, on point. Dumplings? Fried to a gentle crispness of perfection.

This is not health food, don’t expect it to be. Went here with my daughter and we both ate WELL. Hefty portions, good prices.

I will be back, Tops will forever have my vote as best Chinese in town.

Having a little get together after work so I stopped in on my way home from work, ordered $126 dollars worth of food. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my 55 years. Cooked to death everything was mushy tasted scorched and salty as hell. Definitely my first and last time I will ever go to this place, absolutely disgusting food!!!!

This place used to be good. I feel like the quality has taken a hit. My dumplings tasted like it had freezer burn and the fried rice tasted like it’s been sitting in hot plastic. The only thing that was good was the beef lo-mein. Why are the egg rolls on display like this? I’m pretty sure it’s unsanitary. I probably won’t come back for a very long time

Definitely the “Top” Chinese takeout in Culpeper!
I eat her quite often and hardly ever had any complaints. The fried rice can use a little more love but for a TAKE-OUT restaurant the food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for more of a fine dining experience I’d suggest going else where.
I recommend the sweet and sour chicken or general tso chicken. Those are usually my go to especially for the lunch special at 6.95$ Dinner plates range from 8-15$ which is average for Chinese spots around here.
Definitely give it a try and you be the judge!

Ordered Cashew Chicken. Probably no worse than 10 cashews in it, and the chicken was coated in some horrible, strong, bittersweet sauce. Like a burnt barbecue sauce (?). I’ve had cashew chicken from several different places and, yes, there’s always small variations but I’ve never seen it slathered in sauce like this. The rest of the dish was OK, but the chicken . And the weird pass thru window looked gross on the outside. Like nobody bothered walking around to clean it. I’ll drive back to Orange hungry next time I think.

Their egg drop soup was spoiled a couple of times after purchasing it . I don’t care for the taste of the fried rice , for me white rice tastes better . I like their egg foo young dish with chicken or shrimp , rice noodles , and tofu are very healthy dish .

I used to come here about once a week and buy lunch for the guys at the shop. All it took was one time that I had some uncooked chicken. I took it back, the lady would not replace it or refund it, and she was quite rude about it. That happened a couple of years ago but I’ve never been back. The quality of the food was never tops in any way. Lunch wasn’t expensive and included a drink. That was a couple years ago but I’ve never returned.
