Terrible food… Mushy biryani with no taste, even home made Roties are better than their nan. And the paneer falls apart as if it was run through a blender.
Nasty washroom

I once lived in India and have spent a lot of time there, and the food here is the real deal, super tasty. The thali is excellent value, especially since it’s enough for two. Service is a bit slow—I think they make the chapati from scratch—but the owner is super friendly.

A great place for authentic Indian food. The taste, quantity, service, ambiance, and space are unmatched. Must visit if craving for the taste of India. We ordered paneer masala, veg biryani, raita, and dal makhani. Must try indeed.

Let me start right off the bat by saying that, this place- it doesn’t even look like a real restaurant; it looks like some kind of makeshift restaurant. Like a guy that simply owned a house or a small building complex had dreams of owning his own restaurant. It’s like turning your garage into a restaurant. The atmosphere is absolute zero in terms of ambiance, I can’t give less than one star, otherwise I would have given 0 stars. The food is reasonable, I ordered the tandoori chicken with some roti & fries. There are no waitresses even, the person that brings your food for you literally looks like someone you’d find on the street, a miscellaneous individual. The place also looks quite cheap regarding decorations and unkept, hygienically speaking. You’re bothered by some mosquitoes at night, so after sundown & and there is nothing to combat them like mosquito incense or repellent of any kind. This is the first and the last time that I will be “visiting”.

Delicious Indian food for a reasonable price. I always take out! The places itself is a bit unrepresentative, dark and doesn’t look inviting.

A Culinary Oasis in Paramaribo!
After an incredible 15-day boat journey from Brazil, this Indian restaurant was an absolute blessing! This family-owned gem offers more than just delicious food – they provide a warm, welcoming experience that makes you feel like part of their family.
The hospitality is extraordinary – from the moment you walk in, you’re treated not just as a customer, but as a cherished guest. Each dish is crafted with such care and passion, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me right to the heart of India. The taste was so incredible that it became the brightest highlight of my entire trip through Suriname.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The combination of mouthwatering cuisine and heartwarming service makes it a must-visit destination. I’m already looking forward to returning again and again. If you’re in Paramaribo, do not miss this culinary treasure!

Deepakji, an honest, helping and a friendly host is who shall greet you first. The place serves the best Aloo Puri, Paratha, Veg Korma, Gulab Jamun etc in town. A conveniently located place with plenty of space offers the needed break and opportunity to relax.

I agree with a previous comment I have read about this place.
Service 0. Even though the food was great, the service was inexistant and they dare adding a service fee, which is a joke.
Atmosphere 0. Can’t really tell it’s a restaurant, it’s more like a garage turned into a restaurant.
Human aspect 0. The owner was fakely polite, purely transactional politeness, not genuine.
Honestly it’s a huge disappointment. We found the food to be slightly overpriced as well, honestly, pass it. Next time I will just get a simple and tasty roti kip instead of going to a wrongly wannabe fancy place like this one.
