We were told by a local to try this restaurant. We drove from Stilwell Oklahoma. It did not disappoint. I had the red beans & rice. Excellent my friend said her fries were the best. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will return in season for sure. Beautiful views of the water. We enjoyed watching the seagulls and pigeons.

Place was amazing. Food was fantastic. Ordered the ribeye with loaded baked potato and ceaser salad. Steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Potato and salad were just as good. It was almost cold in the building but definitely no complaints. Servers on top of everything. Never missed a beat and drinks never went empty. Prices were good for the quality and amount of food received. Definitely put this on your earing list.

As soon as we arrived we were seated. All the hostesses were super sweet. Our server was excellent. Food was absolutely delicious. We sat outside overlooking the lake. Definitely a wonderful restaurant and highly recommend.

10 out of 10! We came here 2 nights in a row because the food was fantastic and the service amazing! The drinks are also really good. Sat outside the first evening and watched the ducks. Night 2 we sat at the bar which was just as great of an experience.
For food we had boudain balls, crawfish etouffee, and the Cajun boil night 1. Everything was amazing and all plates were cleaned. Night 2 we had the catfish and the steakhouse burger, also fantastic.
Their beer selection is pretty good and their mix drinks menu is very creative. I had the oklahoma club special both nights as well as their fall pear spritz drink the 2nd night.

First time in town at Eufaula Lake with Captain Jake — such a beautiful place with amazing views, great food, and the best service. Everything was absolutely sparkling clean.

This was the best place to eat at hands down! Everyone was super nice and loves their job! The atmosphere was perfect for lunch and or a dinner date night, even just a great time with a group friends!!
We highly recommend this place to everyone! Food was delicious and even though it was a little pricey it was worth every penny!

We eat here every few months and have never been disappointed. The food is always good and the service has always been great. I usually get the Cajun jambalaya pasta and it is always bussin. The catfish is really good and the steaks are amazing too. If you are in the area and looking for a good place to eat, this is a solid spot.

The waitress was great the food was great atmosphere was mostly great. My only complaint is that they need to either tint the front doors or out some kind of blinds or shades up. The sun shines in through them directly in your face making it difficult to have any kind of conversation. It’s excruciating when the door opens, but I’d take that over the majority of their time I was in the restaurant. Shortly after our food arrived it started setting and it made it better. Other than that I definitely would recommend this place. United for a New York strip and it was well seasoned and cooked to order.

Finding amazing customer service and food on a lake is rare but Captain John’s did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, employees are friendly and accommodating. Extremely Clean environment with great views! Best lakeside restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Anytime we are out visiting Eufaula lake, we will certainly stop by for dinner or lunch every time!
