I had their lunch specials that is served with Papadum (lentil chips, tasted amazing), Lamb Samosa, Chicken Curry, Rice, and I got complimentary roti. Everything is tasty and the portions are great! The lamb samosa filling was thick, the Papadum was crispy. Chicken curry was comforting. The servers are hospitable, and they played calming indian music so just nice vibe. Really great option around the area. Highly recommend.

The original Seva staff are BACK!!!! They’re responsible for Seva getting its reputation back in the day, and now they opened this restaurant and it is phenomenal. The lamb samosa is exactly like the lamb spring rolls I used to love at Seva and honestly even better. The pakora and samosa chaat was also very excellent. Eating the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken brought me back to the good old days of Seva when I had it for the first time. The mango lassi ACTUALLY tastes like mango and not just sour yogurt. It’s unbelievably good and I would recommend for sure. Being brutally honest, Seva has dramatically dropped in quality over the years and it is because the original staff had left. Now that this restaurant exists AND it’s run by the original staff, there is no reason to go to Seva anymore and it is only 1 block down. As I’ve tried dozens of Indian restaurant all around the 5 boroughs, this is my favorite by far!

Our go-to spot and our favorite Indian place. On today’s snowy day, we had the best experience watching the snow from the entrance while enjoying incredible food. Everything is consistently rich and full of flavor. We started with vegetable and lamb samosas, which were perfectly spiced and crispy, and for our entrées we had the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala—both absolutely delicious, as always. A comforting, flavorful meal that never disappoints.

Very reasonable prices and clearly labeled vegan options. Will be adding to my rotation.

The vegetable samosas were potato heavy and good. Chana masala was solid although quite mild despite asking for it spicy – you might want to order it extra spicy. Rice was flavorful. Garlic Roti was not too heavy.

Let me say I’m impressed by the service before I even ordered the food ! The pleasant charismatic server , don’t know his name , he’s from Nepal if I’m not mistaken, he provided the best customer service! Now let’s come to the food ! I’m a big lover for Chicken butter! And it didn’t disappoint! I added butter squash soup and my favorite Cheese Naan ! And Mango Lassi . I honestly was transported to India , Goa , my favorite place in India.will definitely go back again!

Curry Corner Indian Cuisine on 30th Ave in Astoria is a fantastic spot! The food is incredibly delicious, with rich, fresh flavors in every bite. The spices are perfectly balanced—good heat and depth that build beautifully without overwhelming the palate. It all tastes so authentic, like traditional homemade Indian cooking that transports you straight to the source. Standouts include the creamy butter chicken, fluffy naan, and crispy samosas. Cozy vibe, great portions, and friendly service—highly recommend!

What a delightful find! The food was incredibly flavorful and felt like a warm hug in this cold weather. The butter chicken was creamy and rich, and the garlic naan was perfectly fluffy. We tried other things too like kebab, tikka, panner, istg it was so good and mango lassi was definitely worth it. The staffs were so kind and welcoming. We left with happy hearts and full bellies. Can’t wait to come back!

I just tried Curry Corner in Astoria for the first time, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the Vegetable Samosa, Pakora, and Paneer Tikka, and each dish was fantastic — the samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, the pakoras were light and delicious, and the paneer tikka had a rich smoky taste with just the right amount of spice.

Their menu is impressive, offering a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, flavorful curries, chaats, soups, and more. I also love that they have a 3-Course Prix Fixe menu for $22 and a Lunch Special for $13 (12–3 PM) — great deals for the generous portions and quality you get.

The service was friendly, and the food arrived hot and fresh. If you’re in Astoria and craving authentic Indian food, Curry Corner is a must-try!

This new BYOB spot is my new current go to spot for Indian food! I always get their saag paneer and lamb samosas which are so flavorful. Recently had their lamb vindaloo that didn’t disappoint. They do not skimp out on portions so I always take my leftovers home. My hubby and I became close with the manager and tall server with glasses as they are always so friendly and they know we live in the area. Please come and support them!
