On October 20, 2025, I visited Subway Store #16846-0 and placed an order for two 12-inch subs and two 6-inch subs.
I have been a loyal Subway customer for many years, but this visit was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the windows and food display glass were visibly dirty, and there were flies inside the restaurant, including inside the cookie display case. The overall environment appeared unsanitary, and the food itself looked like it was in poor and possibly expired condition. There were crumbs and food debris scattered throughout the preparation area, and the cutting boards appeared unclean.
Additionally, the staff member who assisted me was unprofessional and unfriendly. I waited several minutes before being acknowledged, and when I was finally helped, I was met with a poor attitude. When checking out, the cashier overcharged me — I ordered two 12-inch subs and two 6-inch subs, but was charged for three 12-inch subs and one 6-inch sub.
Due to the restaurant’s unsanitary condition and overall experience, my family and I did not eat the food, as we were concerned for our health and safety. I am therefore requesting a full refund for this order.
Please investigate this location immediately, as it presents serious food safety concerns that could put customers at risk.

I ordered the Subway Club footlong. My daughter picked it up for me. When I opened the sandwich, it was a joke!! Maybe 2 pieces of lunch meat. NO bacon, a couple of tiny slivers, which was supposed to pass as tomatoes. Bread so hard and dry it crumbled off in flakes. The extra black olives ended up being NO black olives, pickles were maybe 2 tiny discs. I was so pissed, I threw it in the trash and ordered delivery from Wawa (excellent chicken corn chowder and ham and turkey club sandwich!! BTW) AND I spent almost $16 for this Subway crap including a $2 tip!!?? Never again!

I went to your location at 635 to pick up subs for my family of 6. When I arrived all the interior lights to include the menu boards, the open sign in the window and the sign on the building were off which I thought odd; the lights in the back were on. I placed my first order for a meatball sub and was told they were out. I asked if any more were getting made and was told no. “It’s been slow all day” is what i was told. I asked if they were closing early and was ignored. I asked again and was told “yes, we’re closing early.” At this point i left and went to Guiseppe’s and got 6 subs to include a fantastic meatball sub. I spent more money than I would have at your establishment but gladly did so as the food was outstanding. No wonder it was slow with the lights turned off, menu boards turned off and the sign on the building turned off. The lack of customer service, no apology and overall demeanor of the staff makes me think it’s slow because of these things and no other reason. You have lost a customer and will choose to spend my discretionary income at Wawa, Sheets, Guiseppe’s and Tito’s before I spend another dime at your establishment.

online promo code FLBOGO wasn’t honored. Terrible experience. I made a huge mistake eating here. (Attempting). I think they used a can of ravioli as the base of my sub. I thought the meatballs were chunks of . I don’t know if the Parmesan cheese or the meatballs were aged longer. But hey that recipe isn’t working. I ended up curb stomping this sandwich obviously. Hopefully a snow plow will finish the rest of it before an animal gets hurt

Stopped here while on the road because I wanted to try the sweet onion teriyaki chicken which is the current Tuesday 6.99 special. We’re going to break it down below:
The good: sandwich maker and cashier were polite and professional. Veggies on the sandwich were crunchy and appeared fresh(ish).
The bad: the sandwich is supposed to be a HOT sandwich, I got a mildly warm sandwich where the cheese was partially melted and the chicken was COLD. Needless to say, I did not enjoy the sandwich, plus all the chunks of already sauced chicken kept falling out of the sandwich.
The DISGUSTING: the ladies bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks if not months. The sink was dingy with caked on grime and the toilet was just

I placed an order online last night at 7:45. I arrived at 8:03 to pick my order up. The store is supposed to close at 9:00pm. The door was locked. After waiting for the young man to acknowledge my presence, he sauntered to the door and informs me that he canceled my order 30 minutes ago! It had only been 15 minutes since I ordered. He said he had worked alone all day so he closed because he was tired and had to close down everything by himself. I was not aware that my order had been canceled and I drove 15 minutes to pick the order up. He went back in the store and locked the door at 8:04 pm. I sat in my car and ordered from other establishments. At 8:20 he left the store, heading to Food Lion. He came back with a bag at 8:32 and went to the back of the store. He came directly out and went next door to the Dominos. A young lady who works in Dominos came out and the two of them went into the back of the Subway. She came out a few minutes later and got a soda out of the cooler and went back into the back with the rude young man that was supposed to be “cleaning up the store”. I left at 8:36 to go pick up my other orders. The two of them were still in the back of the store. I took pictures of all of this! If the store closes at 9:00. Why would he delete an order for 2 footlong combo meals at 7:46? He was not cleaning anything! This is beyond unacceptable!! I can provide evidence of the order, cancelation e mail and pictures of all his actions. I managed a restaurant for 10 years and I would never have put up with these shenanigans. It is beyond poor customer service. I attempted to call this store this morning and got an answering machine. If I could have given 0 stars i would have! I will never go to this location again. I will go to the Ashland Virginia store. I always receive excellent service and quality food at that location.

I always leave a “special note” for my online orders to this location asking for my buffalo chicken sub to be “drowned in buffalo sauce” and I have almost always been pleased! Today I went and my sandwich had so much sauce that it surpassed my expectations! And they even gave me a little container of extra sauce too!! I was so so happy and satisfied with my online order. I love this location bc they rarely disappoint me with my buffalo chicken sub drenched in buffalo sauce. Definitely my favorite Subway location <3

Food was not good or fresh. Subway Club and the roast beef was balled up on the sandwich. Did not toast the cheese, just a mess. I was not going to eat this at all and I got a refund. Even the cookies were nasty (how the cookies be nasty too?) Just ridiculous

I went to subway for lunch, haven’t been there in about 3yrs. The vegetables in the case were so wilted it was if they’ve been setting out for days. I got my sandwich came home and gave part of it to my dog. The rest I threw away.I only live a short way from there. My steak and cheese was absolutely cold as well. The quality of the food was unpleasent. I was afraid to get food poisoning. They won’t see me there any more. YUCK!!!
