Very slow to get your order(40 min). The customer who placed his order after me, got it before mine. I had to ask where is mine and after looking for my name, they found my order. No orgisation on who is ordering first. The food was good, but work is needed.

Chez Mel service has gone downhill. Expect to wait 25-30 minutes for a poutine when it is not busy. The staff are super slow and rude when you inquire how much longer. Prices are high. We won’t be going back anymore. Quicker and cheaper to make it at home and don’t have to deal with rude employees.

The lady at the counter was a sweetheart. That was the best part; downhill from there. Food took way too long to come out of kitchen considering we were the only ones there. The credit card machine also tries to force you into tip (we had takeout). The poutines looked appetizing when they arrived, but were pretty bad. Cheeseburger was not bad, but nothing more than 2.5 stars/5. All this ^^ considering the price was $23 for a medium poutine + cheeseburger.

Just had there 2 poutines for $19 I was expecting cheese curds and maybe a bigger portion. The fries though we’re really nice and crispy. 2 poutines for $19 and i get mozzarella, gravy and crispy fries. I feel like that’s a little much. Maybe I’ll try something else next time.
