Totally would come back to this bar again! It’s a dive bar, hence the name. This is not a fancy place, and doesn’t have a big selection of alcohol BUT they make up in a friendly atmosphere and hospitality. Never have I and my husband walked into a bar and been so welcomed in our lives. This seems to be a no drama bar where it’s all locals and the drinks are reasonable. If we lived closer we’d definitely make it a regular spot. They offered us food but it’s not sold. It’s a gathering thing they do and should not be expected. We appreciate the people that worked there. We had Kate, Andy, and Chris who served us. My apologies for if I got your names wrong. My wife first introduced me to The Dive Bar, as she had been going there before we met—and I’m glad she did! This awesome, smaller, old-school bar has a warm, friendly vibe that makes it a true local favorite. Definitely a place you need to check out.
Everyone here is welcoming and fun, and the owner, Alan, is fantastic. They have great entertainment options including electronic dart boards, bowling, Golden Tee golf, and a Jurassic Park pinball machine. All of the bartenders provide excellent service every time.
They also frequently host public events like cookouts, retirement parties, and other celebrations, making it a great place to gather with friends and the community. Highly recommend!

After a long 14 hour drive. I stay at the big wheel next door for a night due to having a job in town. I see a bunch of people at the bar inside. And cars in the parking lot(1130). I go up to the door and its locked for whatever reason. So I go knock on the window and the bartend just looks at me like I’m stupid for being there and says they’re closed… might want to update the hours then… crazy turning away new customers like that. I arrived for 2 drinks on one day was welcomed open armed great chat at the bar…
3 nights later had another few drinks there. Played with a local girl pool and everyone couldn’t be nicer. Well done Steve. And Barb you’ll beat me the next time

Positive: Great bartender, strong mixed drinks, great prices, willing to turn the jukebox up, wifi available, free chex mix.
Not so great: Small environment; felt crowded with 10 people in there, and why have a pool table if it stays covered? Put in some tables maybe? Those steps at entrance are very steep, stool was not comfortable.

Local dive bar/hangout. Conveniently located a short hop from the Navy Base and Crooked River State Park. We were welcomed warmly even though we were strangers. No food is served although they do occasionally have cookouts and pot lucks. Staff was very nice as were the people we were seated next to at the bar. Limited beer selection but they did have Guinness. I had a decent pinot grigio which was carefully measured out for a 5 oz pour. (Really, in this kind of place??? Buy some cheaper wine for the bar and pour generously.) One lady was drinking 19 Crimes Red, of which there were several bottles on the back bar. I imagine if you are a regular they will get what you want. If you want real glass bring your own. This is strictly a plastic cup joint. Prices are decent. Definitely a fun place but be advised SMOKING IS ALLOWED!!!!! That’s really the only detractor for me. Otherwise I could hang out there.
